Helloooo

Post by moo »

After lurking for ages, I've finally joined & look forward to chatting to you all.

I'm going to Amsterdam for my second trip in 1 week and 5 days! :D Very excited. I'll be there 13th Oct - 20th Oct, which will be bloody fantastic as it's also my 22nd birthday on the 14th. I'm coming with my bf & friends, and even have my dad coming along too at the grand ol' age of 63.

Anyway, I don't know what else to say but hellooo!

There are a couple of M&G's posted for the 18th & 19th Oct. And if you and you're old man turn up then I wont be the only one there with a bus pass. This is my 63rd. birthday trip (25th. October). 8)

Thanks for the welcome!

My dad wont be smoking due to his health [COPD], but is up for trying some cakes. He hasn't had a holiday in 10 years so I'm very happy he's agreed to come with us. I've been warned to go gentle on him! I'm not sure if everyone will be up for meeting randoms off the internet, however I've done it plenty of times & would love to meet some of the forum's members so hopefully I can convince them :D

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the October Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
There are Meet and Greets on the 14th, 18th and 19th.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=38600

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

Oh thats a shame about your Pa's health, and to be honest up to a year ago after a long life of heavy smoking I could say that I was just about there (COPD) myself but I did give up, had to but from this great site I learned all about vapourisers and I swear I have a new life because eating the herb, while a nice way to get a hit just isn't the full picture.
Anyway your friends are right about meeting randoms off the internet, its something we warn each other about isn't it? but the coffeeshops are often crowded and very public. Tell your Dad I'll have my iolite vap with me, he can have a toke.
What a long strange trip it is.

I've heard about vaps but have never actually seen or used one. I'd definitely love a go though! I was curious about whether my dad would be able to use one, but due to his severe copd, I worry the cons would outweigh the pros. I'll talk to him later about it and if not, I'll find some damn good cakes for him. :D

I'll have a go convincing the others to come, if not, I'm sure my bf will come with me. :)

hmmm ... i won't be too far behind on the grand ol' age thing myself soon ...

ps could i ask whether you all have read the document about how not to get hit by a bicycle, it would be a good idea if you could read it before you arrive, the bicycles as you may already know are lethal

have a great trip ...
