Even if its not illegal to have a chillum in whatever country you're in, don't give the airport security any reason to single you out. in their eyes, if you're carrying a chillum, theres a good chance you're carrying drugs too.
As soon as they see your chillum they will do a hardcore search of ALL your luggage, looking inside every single sock and every tiny corner of your bags. They will also ask you a ton of questions and generally make you feel like a criminal.
Theres also nothing to stop them locking you in a room for a few hours while they check your bags and make sure you're not a drug runner.
