Second chance

Post by Shandalar »

I`m thinking of giving Amsterdam a second chance since i got a pretty nice tax return and some holiday from work...

I`m currently contemplating on when should i make it? I`m thinking of early/mid december, or waiting until spring (will be tough to wait so long)

How`s the weather in Amsterdam around december time? I was in Prague once in late december, and that was like really dry and temps around -2 to +2 celcius. I can easily handle cold weather and snow, but i don`t want any of that slush lying around on the streets

Will propably be around for 3-4 nights this time, and looking at apartments or hotels around the 70-80€ per night mark.

Yea thats 1 of the drawbacks! the place was packed to the rafters back then,I spent most of the day down leidseplein as they were tons of free concerts & stuff 8).

Before going ahead and booking something at the price you have quoted, have a look on Priceline and consider your own Bid.
I got a 4 star superior alot cheaper than what your prepared to pay

I never heard of the site untill fellow smokers informed me of it, best thing ever

Okay, i just read on some website that December is the rainiest month in Amsterdam, with average temperatures around +0 to +5 celcius
Anyway i won`t have the money to book anything until the very beginning of december when my tax returns actually arrive on my bank account, so plenty of time to contemplate...

You have been posted on the December Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=33815

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.
