Flying with Easyjet

Post by steven »

Hi folks, Well this time next week I'll be in the dam off ma trolley, on some of the finest weed and hashes in the world.hmmmm

Anyhow as time is creeping up I am starting to get a little panicky with flying with easyjet.

Now all those in the UK would have no doubt seen there shitty series on TV, seeing folk refused on the flight, being late etc

I have printed off my boarding passes, booked my carpark and hope to stay overnight prior to departing as the flight check in is at 06.40am.

Where am I going with this? Who knows I am stoned and tend to waffle before I get to the point

But have any other smokers flew with Easyjet and have you ever had any problems with HAND LUGGAGE?

Or am I just panicking for the sake of it :?:

You say you flew with luggage, was that hand luggage or hold luggage.
I have not booked any hold luggage as it was more expensive

Never had problems with them, I always arrive early, have my boarding passes printed ect.. but usually only have hand luggage.

Took the 360 last year and it arrived safely in the suitcase.

6 hrs till our easyjet flight..

Have fun m8.. and if you stuf does go missing well... your in Amsterdam...

Put your important stuf in hand luggage with a spare pair of pants and your sorted..

easy-jet are ok, they have a very weird boarding system, but apart from that they are fine, much better than that shitty ryanair

once had a three hour flight with them, and i wanted to open the emergency and jump, it was terrible.

easyjet are usually the cheapest and for a short flight (only 1 hour for me) its definitely the best option.

That's the thing, I am only taking hand luggage with me and have printed off our boarding passes, but I'm not 100% sure in what I do when I get to the Airport, apart from checking in, but then again do I need to check in if boarding passes are already printed off.
Getting stressed
Where's ma weed

No need to check in when you get to the airport mate just go straight to departures. You have already got your boarding cards so you can arrive latter at the airport as well.

Flown with Easyjet to the Dam a few times never had any problems with them.
In fact the last time we went we asked the receptionist in the hotel if she could check us in and print our return boarding passes off for us which she obligingly did, but she omitted to tell us the printer wasn't working properly. When she gave us the passes half of the bar code at the bottom of the pass was missing.
I thought it might be ok as there was a small bar code down the side but the other people I was with weren’t so sure, so rather than having an extra 2 hours in the Dam we had to get to the airport earlier in case there was a problem with the tickets, but we needn’t have worried when we got there they said it was fine no problem and just let us straight through.

I’m well pissed off now though Easyjet don’t fly to Amsterdam from Cardiff any more. Now it’s only KLM and the price of a flight to Dam has doubled in the last year.
So don’t worry everything should be fine and enjoy your trip.

Cheers Nice dreams, I have already printed both boarding passes off, outwards and return.
Wasn't sure about checking in but I will just get there earlier to make sure everything goes as smooth as the smoke I'll be toking later that morning

I know exactly what you mean about the costs, my closest airport is Edinburgh and they were wanting £270 for me and the missus (£135 each) and the flights weren't leaving untill mid afternoon.
After some serious searching I managed to get flights from Liverpool for £88 return for the both of us(£44 each)

Fly out at 08.40 and in the Dam for 10.00am well 11 with the change o clocks, Staying overnight 1 mile from the airport for £40 and still saving £140ish

One last thing when you take one of the wee cases on as hand luggage, do they take into account the stumps at the bottom of the case or is it just the case and material they measure :?:

Think the excitement is overiding my nerves now, all those lovely menus and shop reviews are doing my nut in but think I have finally decided on what's 1st or 2nd or 3rd
Dolphins for their white dolphin.
Bluebirds for a cheap bash of ice o later
Mellow yellow for the S5 haze/NYC Diesel

Then where ever my stoney legs will take me
Fuck my wifes gonna love me, as I said it's my holiday too
