I dont know if this thread is to blame but I dreamt about Amsterdam for the the first time in ages last night, I reckon it's a sign that I need to go back, I'm just so short on funds it isn't possible atm. :(

Twitch you take some fine pictures, cheers.

Ahh, yer all to kind

Thursday, Oct 15th.

After the usual morning wake and bake, shower and a fry up cooked by Newbinho, we hit the road, with the sole intention of making it out to Boerenjongen.
So, we meandered through the canals untill we got to the Liedseplien. From there, it was simply a case of following Overtoom all the way to the end, then Hanging a right when you cross the canal. Here is a couple of pics from that Junction.
Image
Image

Following the canal for 2-3 minutes, Boerenjongens appears on the Left.
Image

After locking up the bikes we headed into the Shop. There were a few locals buying their herb, a couple rolling their spliffs, but the Tender was super cool. He showed us everything we wanted to see. I eventually settled on the 100% Sativa, Heavens Snow ( my guess, the greenhouse’s Hawaiian Snow ) for € 13 a gram.
Image

And the “ Off Menu “ Chemdog for € 10 a gram.
Image
Newbinho ended up buying a fat sack of G13x Chocoloupe ( sorry, no pics of that shit  ).

After confirming with the Tender that “Rokin mit Verboten” ( hehe) indoors, we bought a couple of Apple juices, and settled down to roll up some herb.
View from the window out.
Image

Glancing out of the window, we could see a couple of benches canal side. This appeared to be where all the folks rolling up spliffs were heading to smoke them. So we did just that. We walked over beside all the local Hoodlums :D , and sparked our fatties. Damn, the Heavens Snow was special. Oozing that Sativa-citrus smell, and tasting just as full. The effects were very similar the the Doc Grinspoon from Barney’s, but €4 cheaper!!
Anothr Picture.
Image

Doobies nailed, we unlocked the bikes and set off into the Sun. We did have a plan mind. On our travels, we had spied Tuintje (sp),
Image

so that was our next stop. A hella sexy young lass served us. I opt for a gram of T’bizla for € 9 a gram ( I think :? ).
Image

This shop is on three levels. We sat downstairs, rolled up a couple of Hash doobs, and started to blaze. Newbinho had bought the Superpolm, and as we passed our spliffs between us, I must say, both hashes were really nice. The super polm, perhaps having more flavour, but the T’bizla was smoother.
Image

Now, we had planned to go to Tweedy next, roll a couple of spliffs, then chill in Vondel park. Unfortunately, I still couldn’t find the Place ( I have looked on two separate trips before, and to no avail  )
This pissed me of royally, for I like to think I have good map-reading skills and a good sense of direction. Regardless, we still had shitloads of pot, so we just went to Vondel Park anyway. Pictures.

And one of my bike...
Image

We spent an hour or so smoking, eating sandwiches and Cycling around. Watching a young mother trying to calm her son down ( he was on one of those little dump-truck type things with pedals and shit, and refusing to go where his mother wanted him to, it was funny as fuck! )

It was suggested we go somewhere for a game of pool and a smoke. The first place that came to mind was Mellow Yellow. So exiting Vondel Park here.
Image

We cycled right, then up to M.Y. The tender showed us a couple of tubs but the one that looked and smelled best for me was the Sleese Stick, €10 a gram.
Image

I mean, fuck the name! Seriously, whats that all about!?!
However, it was a very nice smoke. Smooth and quite heavy. It didn’t stop me Humping Newbinho 4-1 at pool though.
Image

From here we cycled north, up to Dam Square, locked the bikes up, then done some shopping for gifts and stuff. At one point, we walked round to the Cannabis College, and bought a couple of T-Shirts.
Image

By now, it was time to head home and have our Tea. I settled on some simple Tomato soup and some Fresh crusty bread I picked up on the way home. It was at this time I tried the Chemdog from Boerenjongens. Oooohweee! Strong indica this one. Tasty too.
Random picture alert!
Image

Around 7PM, we took the short walk along to Coffeeshop 137 . Again, I get the Alegria, 2 grams, €21ish.
We are the only Patrons.
Image

Exiting 137, and turning right, you will eventually come to Siberie. That was the next stop. I opt for the Amnesia ( €9 a gram ) and a cup of Tea.
Image

Perfectly fine example of A-haze.
Next Stop, it had been agreed, would be Anyday.
Finally, they had Super Jamaican in Stock…………unfortunately, there was nothing Super about it  . Just the usual Schwaggy Jamaican. I passed. Instead, I got 2 grams of Stella Blue.
Image
Image

The most Fruity Blueberry-type herb I have ever had. Very tasty pot. The stone was nothing special, not exceedingly strong, or weak. Just generic, but the flavour was special. I would defo buy this again.

Now, anyone who read my trip report from April will know I had no luck trying to get my fingers on the Trans-Himalayan from Kadinsky….Well not this time. I got two grams en route to dam Square for Poffertjes ( Have I mentioned that the Carnival was up and running in Dam Square yet? )
Image
Trans-H.

Image

Final stop of the night was Popeyes, where I bought 2 space cakes and a cup of tea. The cake was oh so delish! Really, the tastiest space cake I have ever had. It was like a choco Brownie, with coconut on it. It was very moist, and moreish. Dunno how strong they were, I was already super melted, lol.

Another day over, 2 and a half left.
