Safety....

Post by Trad »

Hello everyone.
I'm travelling solo to AMS and have been wondering about walking around the city streets alone at night well buzzed.
There are parts of most/all large cities that should be avoided by lone travelers. Are there such areas in AMS? Are the trams/buses safe at night?
Has anyone stayed at De Roode Leeuw? What is thier smoking (weed) policy?
This forum has been a gold mine of information and has made planning my first trip a blast.
Thanks.
Trad.

Thanks Stuart, good to know.
A towel under the door and windows open is the same that I do here when I want a puff in a hotel room.
