dont laugh, i need help, experts pls comment

I eat too much when I smoke. I smoke daily. I can manage containing the munchies during the day, but at night I cant, i just cant. KFC mcDs and pizza hut all within 5 mins from me, and open LATE. those bastards.
so what, if possible, are the strains that can help me AVOID trigging the munchies? are there certain smokes that doesnt lead to food cravings? im sure there must be...there must be!
i end up have very light lunches the next day cuz i feel so guilty from the night before! what i dont understand is, in middle-high school, i was happy being just high, now more than 10 years later, i find i MUST EAT!!!
what to smoke and not eat? (or at least eat less!!)

I've faced this very dilemma myself...I've only really had success when I do one of two things. 1) Cut down at night, which is tough but worth it (makes the nights I do smoke really fun, too) or 2) smoke only when I know I'll have something to occupy my time - anything that keeps my mind occupied as I find that I get the munchies (or notice them) mostly when I'm bored. Sativas work the best for this, but I can only get whatever's around at home, so I never know when one will show up...

easy one you gotta smoke something really bloody strong in a pipe that way you will be more concerned about being sick getting paranoid and food wont even enter the equation. once you start cant stop. dont go to mac Ds Yuk ill write the address of my favorite restaurant this trip. they do tapas food and the best pizza and garlic bread ive had in my life bloody cheap as well

my view is that if you smoke weed, you will get the munchies
imo the problem isn't getting the munchies, it's the high fat-sugar-salt offerings at the local take-aways
please forgive this sensible suggestion - find some fruit, fresh or dried, or some fruit and cereal bars that you like, buy in a good supply, and then nibble on those as required

just do some decent cooking in advance. make some wok stuff yourself. it is low fat and low carbs, so you can have the munchies without the bad feeling

stuart 1976-i cant wait to hear this restaurant then, best pizza and garlic bread? ive had the best pizza all over europe and the US....so i'll have to check this out!
and really, doesnt everything just taste so much better? but i cant...the calories consume me!
i really hoped there would be some type of strain that might be less prone to initiating the munchies....sativas i guess would be the first step...

I'm still looking for that strain as well

I think the only real answer is to smoke as many iceolators and the like as you can at least that way you'll be too stoned to even think of food.

sativas seem to be easier on the munchies for me. stock upmon healthier snacks from albert heijn or something. rice cakes? non fat yogurt? baked crisps/chips?

Whats the point in haing the munchies if all you do is eat crap like that, I say fuck it I'm on holiday so I'm going to divulge.
Save the healthy eating (if you must) to when you're back home.

well most of us here are prob daily smokers, meaning being in DAM is really the same as being at home, still looking for that special strain. any mad scientists here that could pull this off? =)
my healthy equivalent is cereal: corn pops, frosted flakes and honey nut cherios are pretty healthy...right? but ive been known to rip through a box of cinamon toast cruch from time to time in one sitting....

Dude, why the fuck are you even stressing it. If it bothers you that much go to gym during the day. Munchies are for eating shit, thats why the subway man knows my order when i come in with a pair of eyes as red as the devils nuts.

I havent found any strain which didnt give me the munchies....but its not the weed, its yourself! you have to cool yourself down if this really is a problem....weed is not the cause, its just the excuse

Of course its the weed, just like booze gives people the munchies as well.

actually if you smoke quaze in the morning will be high and dont have munchies. at least sometimes. i agree that sativas are easier. if i smoke heavy indica it is ice cream and sweets for me, but with quaze i did not have that at all.
