errr problem with vaps are the amount they cost could do a good trip to amsterdam for less i use them as a treat in the Dam only the Iolite looks good though about 100 pounds and its portable bucket will give you just as nice high but will rip your throat up. i brought a cheap vapourizer a few years ago 50 pounds and was bloody useless

It's not worth it really.
Vapourisers are only really any good if designed from the ground up, like Volcano's found in most good coffeeshops. Storz & Bickel - a German company so is clearly engineered well.
I have bought many crappy vapourisers in the past, all made from component parts borrowed from common household appliances. One that was particularly shite was a jam jar, a kettle heating element and some other borrowed jiggery pockery that made it suck.
Save for quality or stick to the bong mmmm mmmm

so what was the problem with those....not effective, losing smoke? or just didnt work...?
bc for me, i was thinking....isnt it still better to have a vap working at 70% , healthwise than smoke direct? (then again, for most of us its been 10+ years of regular smoke, but since vap came into action, im paranoid that I should NOT be smoking and vaping instead)
online videos make it seem like its a good idea and worthy....just wondering if its safe and if anybody had ideas...

Hi, Does anyone remember Eagle Bill he was a old american guy who used to sit at the back of the sensi seeds shop and in the cannabis museum. He was the fist guy i met with a vapo and he used to give demonstrations with his .Really great guy we used to wish he was our grandad!.Spent many a hour with him anyway back to the point his vapo was homemade and worked a treat he used to sell plans on how to make them dont know if anybody has them.i made one with a old sweet jar a piece of scaffold and a heat gun which was very similar to his.Looked crazy but worked very well .i have a vapir in the cupboard but never use it .If you are going to buy spend as much as you can.

just scoop up a lower price level vape like a vapor brothers. will work fine.
the only vapes iv tried that are shit are those glass dome vapes. the elements with the jet/glass ball over. they are awful. my bro had one and it didn't work well and u could only leave it on for 15 mins at a time.

The main issue with the cheap ones I bought was that the herb didn't really change colour or texture like it should when it's being vaped. You never really felt you were inhaling anything, a vapouriser should still tickle the throat a little and feel like some sort of 'hit'. The effects were just not present as abundantly as they should be. After trying a few of the cheap ones with cheap components I actually nearly gave up on them thinking that was just the way they were however once I tried a volcano in Amsterdam my mind completely changed.BlaireD wrote:thanks gnarley

The bud looks like it's being kinda toasted in the volcano, the bag fills with a visible vapour and you feel and taste the hit perfectly.
You could get one at 70% efficiency but think about nailing a crazy, old, fat, ugly chick- sure it's still a woman but it won't make wife material. Or, think non alcoholic beer, you get my point!
