Super King from Barraka - buy a g to try before buying 5!!

I never thought i'd be saying this as ive been to Barraka many times for the Super King with no problem but on this last trip i think he made a mistake in what he gave me! Buy a single g to sample it first - i like the Moroccan owner but i think he's a heavy stoner himself and subject to stoner-error! He gave me a standard, decent qual rocky instead of the soaring-high Super King - I was in 'trust mode' and totally wasted myself which is my excuse for not spotting the error! For reference, the Super King looks like a slightly darker rocky and should go shiny quite quickly on the surfaces your fingers touch if you apply a little pressure.

...perils of having too much gear at one time whilst wasted! [secretly tho, i'm quite pleased i can still get that stoned!! hahahahaha!![/code]

A coffeeshop is only ever going to have a limited supply of each kind of hash. When this finishes, it isn't like weed where you have particular strains which generally look / smell the same from batch to batch. The new 'Super King' or whatever name you give it is going to be different as you are reliant on sourcing the stuff through an unregulated back door market. Not like you go to the wholesaler and select from visible standing stock.

Names like Polm, Double Zero, Caramello - these are simply for marketing, not an indication of any kind of consistency of product. Some examples of the way this works in Amsterdam coffeeshops would be:

Low grade maroc hash - call it Polm or Pollen
Spicy maroc hash - call it Zero Zero
Pliable maroc blond hash - call it Caramello
etcetc

So what I'm saying, in short, is that I doubt the dealer made a mistake at all. He has simply moved on to his next batch of 'Super King' which is different to how you remember (because it inevitably IS different).

too true, i dont like to get to hung up on names, for example in august stix & de kuil both sold caramello, stix was 2euros less a gram, but it was of a lower quality compared to de kuil, over 420 tweede de kamers super tbizla & aiesha were 3-4 euros less than the most expensive maroc hash but it was the best hash they had & the staff agreed, in august though the aiesha was 14e a gram & not as good as it was when it was 11e, when it comes to maroc hash which is my favourite smoke i like to find my favourite the 1st couple days & just buy that until i go home, i dont see the point in buying a lesser product just because it has a different name
