Has anyone been to the heineken experience by any chance? i know its been done up lately after been closed for about 18 months.

The wife and I went the first time we were there about 4 years ago.....we had a fun time, got a little history lesson along with some free beers. Also got a couple of free heineken glasses on the way out. I would do it again.

Went in July, for the first time after the reno. It was okay, only went because the weather was bad. Took about 2 hours to see everything, had a brief wait at the "ride". Warning you will get sprayed with water a couple of times. It was 15E each and you got a bracelet with 2 plastic studs for beer tokens. Plus halfway through the tour you get a small beer. Tip: Finish first during the demo and get an extra beer.

I went there back in Oct and it was nothing special. I mean they explain the basic process of brewing beer and you get some drinks. I was disappointed after paying the 15 euros. It is a time killer and if you know nothing about the brewing process you might find it interesting. To each their own I guess.

I wouldn't bother, especially now since they've raised the price. I think I paid the equivalent of $5, which included a tour and all the bier you can drink in 45 minutes. You could go to the only functioning brewery in Amsterdam. Which is still on my "to visit" list.

Kinda like the Hershey Factory in Pennsylvania..and you are stuck on the tour...with NO Candy...I was really hoping for M&M's at least..

I thought the Heineken Experence was ok, worth the 15 Euros, a couple free beers and a good time out of the coffeeshops. Although the ride where they simulate "bottling you" was a bit cheesy., Gotta be worth a visit . I would go again if i was with some1 who wanted to go but hadnt been before

Maybe for a rainy day, and I happen to stumble by to get out of the rain..


Been to the Busch factory near Orlando...Nice rollercoasters too..

Tired of the Orlando area though, after living there for a couple of years, and the usual Florida Resident Annual Passes for 25 years, it is to say the least Boring...

I make it a point to have at least one cultural experience a day in the DAM on each trip..There is still so mush to see..after this being my 6th trip...16 more days....

Yup that's the one, someday I'll get there I did see that you can buy their bier around town too. I saw it at De Aanzet. Nice pic too Sir Ian.

Better than the Heineken tourist trap by a country mile, especially if you take the *free tour*. Coffeeshop Happy People is close by and well worth stopping off at before or after or even both ways.

I remember this!!! Paying something like 10 Guilders for a look around the dull factory, but downing as much beer as humanly possible in the 45mins/1 hour at the end of the tour, to drink as much as you could... Shame to think it has changed so dramatically!

I liked it. The ride was fun being stoned and all. At the end it reminded me of college frat parties with alot of college age people and even the beer spilled on the floor. lol.

I must admit I've been around the Experiance 3 or 4 times, I love it - a good smoke up before you go, then a few little biers and like Cat said that ride when stoned is fun, I'll probably go back for another run round next time I'm in town just to see what changes they've made.
