Giro d'Italia in Amsterdam, May 2010

Next years Giro d'Italia cycle race is based in Amsterdam for 3 days from 8th-10th May inclusive. The first day is a prologue time trial from the Van Gogh Musuem to Rijksmuseum via the Amstel and city centre (not direct ). Next day is off to Utrecht and the third day to Vlissingen.

Not quite a spectacle on the scale of Le Tour de France, but nonetheless should be interesting racing through the centrum. Loads of top cyclists but not Armstrong nor probably Cancellara this time.

I'll be across for event, in the meantime I'm trying to work out how many CS it passes in the prologue
