Nepali Hash + Coconut Oil + Yogurt

Post by PecosTheCat »

On Sunday I was thinking about how many years it has been since I've eaten any cannabis and decided to whip up some tasty yogurt.

It took about a gram of nice black nepali hash and dissolved it into about a tablespoon of hot coconut oil. After the oil cooled, I poured it into a pot of strawberry yogurt. It was actually very tasty. The spicy hash seemed to blend well with the strawberry.

After about a half hour, it started to hit and about an hour in I was completely blasted out of my mind. To be honest, it was too strong and long lasting and intense for my tastes. I think I'll go back to regular smoking as it's much easier to regulate the dosage.

Coconut oil is the one of the best cooking oils, I've added grass to it to make cookies. Excellent taste and one of the healthiest. Ignore the myths regarding the downside of high saturated fat. It's got the good kind.

Are you heating hash only to melt it and thus distribute it evenly? Or are you cooking the THC out, aka cannabutter?

Can one just eat a piece of hash???

I just heated it long enough for the hash to dissolve. I used the gas burner on my stove on the lowest setting. It took about 20 - 30 seconds. I was careful to not make the oil too hot, just hot enough to dissolve the hash.

If you use this technique, you need to make sure the oil cools down a bit before putting it in the yogurt. Otherwise, it will curdle.
