Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Hello i will be visiting amsterdam between the 13-20 of july and i had a few questions that i would like answered and after reading people's posts and realycing how nice people are in this forum i was hoping that someone could spare their time to answer.
1. Is it ok to go into a coffeeshop buy their weed and smoke it in there without the purchase of drinks or anything else?
2. Which coffeeshops are musts in my visit?
3. I like weed and hash and was wondering what are the best types (strains) to try, their prices, which coffeeshop they are sold in and what kind of high they give you (high/stoned).
Thank you all for sparing your time to answer these questions i might ask a few more later if more come to mind.

1- kinda...as long as you spend $$ you should be left alone...but its always better to buy a drink especially if you hang for long.

2-that is completely subjective...for me Tweede Kamer, Grey Area, Amnesia, Nes, new barneys, Pink Floyd...........

3-read thru the cannibs strains forum section for specifics.....and keep in mind Sativas are more of a head-buzzy high...and indicas are a heavy stoned couchlock high.

Would definitely go along with the 'Dog's recs for Pink Floyd and Nes (Nes especially if you like a beer with your smoke and a game of pool) and I have only heard good things about Amnesia even though I never got the chance to visit the place on my recent trip.

Can't really say much about the hash/weed as I felt the same after each smoke of stuff that I had. Cherry Bomb weed from Nes and Umma Gumma hash from Pink Floyd were two that I sampled on my previous trip.

My favourite smoke was Silver Pearl from Greenhouse Centrum at 6.60 Euros per gram and they also serve beer. My trip ended just over two weeks ago so all of the above should still be on the menu (hopefully)

yes its ok to not buy a drink but you will have a mouth like a nunns fanny!!
