Party Location? - ex orb members performing

Hi - i'm new to this forum and also to amsterdam coffeeshops.

I was wondering if anyone had a contact in amsterdam that could provide a suitable location (preferably with a coffeshop menu), where a couple of ex-orb members could plug in their laptops and put on a birthday show for a couple of hours (23rd June)?

Don't know if he's sent you a PM yet, but there's a guy on this forum known as DC who lives in Amsterdam (and also works in a coffeeshop). Maybe he could set you on the right track.

Perhaps any old shop with internet access would be happy to accommodate you. (The staff might even recognise you as Orb members, although I doubt it unless they REALLY know that side of the music scene) You can't be the first ones who have ever talen a laptop into a shop and asked to get hooked up.

the rokerij on leidstraat has a turntable/PA system setup in the back ....would be a great shop to do it in !!

I remember the orb.....oh no that was orbital!

I can't see this happening unless someone in the cs/club/whatever is fans of the orb....as it sounds like a bit of a blag!
