Ok so my tentative trip in april is growing from 2 to 4. As much as id like to stay at the apartments ive styed at previously, they wont work for 1 in our group. Theres a ton of apartment rentals to troll through so im asking for specifics that any of you may know of. What we need.
-sleeps 4 preferably 2 bed rooms but atleast 1 private bedroom.
-standard amenities, full kitchen, washer and dryer...
-no crazy stairs
-central location and or close to a tram
-standing room, were all 6'+
-in the $200(E140ish) range per night
-smoker friendly of course

try vrbo i got my apartment for 750 euro for 10 nights

have a look at www.amsterdamcentralbedandbreakfast.nl nice couple who own it, they have B&B rooms and apartments.
*about 5 min from train station.
*clean.
*rooms for up to 7 people.
*smoker friendly

only thing has funny amsterdam stairs (but hard to avoid as pretty much all the old buildings have them) but ground floor rooms avalible.
