Book about the history of Amsterdam Coffeeshops?
A while ago I found a book online about that was written about Amsterdam cannabis culture in the early 70's -- right when all the coffeshops were first opening up. It was an insider's account and contained many great photos and stories from the era. It was only available from a small website and likely self-published. I can't remember what it was called or who wrote it, but I need to find this book! I remember it having the reputation of being the definitive book on Amsterdam coffeeshop history. I googled for hours but couldn't come up with any info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, that's it exactly! Thanks so much, you have no idea how much time you saved me. I really appreciate it. As an aside, has anyone read this book?StonedSince'67 wrote:maybe this?Mr FunnyPants wrote:A while ago I found a book online about that was written about Amsterdam cannabis culture in the early 70's -- right when all the coffeshops were first opening up. EDIT: Now I remember why I never ordered it. All the order links are broken. Anyone know how to get a copy of this book? I'd prefer to order online but will be in Amsterdam in December/January if there's a shop that carries it.

Looks cool. Here's the publisher's email, as far as I can tell: info@realdealpublishing.com
Ask them and then post up what you find
