I know this same question has been asked so let's get a definitive reply.

I can see that most smart shops still list on the outside of their shop that they sell mushrooms. If I walked into one today and asked them to sell me some mushrooms, what would happened?

They'll tell you they no longer sell them and offer truffles instead.

I keep hearing people are still buying them they're just under the counter so to speak.

OceanVision I would NOT ask at the coffeeshops. Since mushies are now illegal, like hard drugs, its not a discussion the CS staff should be happening. Some of them take the hard drugs issue very seriously and will throw you out.

I'm not game for walking around randomly asking Smart Shop workers if they'll sell me illegal mushrooms.

You should see how many square feet of room we have here. We're talking less square feet than I have years of life, and I'm a young man. Haha. So yeah, way too much money for a couple of musicians.

No harm asking around the staff didn't seem that annoyed!

HINT ask places during the weekend

I simply walked into the smart shop and asked them what were the strongest truffles he had, he said would i be interested in anything a little stronger. I replied "Yes please", he then pulled out a seperate menu from under the counter. I got myself a packet of Mexican flier mushrooms and had the best afternoon i've had in a long long time.

Exact same thing happened to me. First time I did them it was amazing. Went to another headshop, asked the exact same thing, and she said to me that I should share 1 box with a friend, otherwise "the walls would bleed". I got two boxes between 3. I had one box to myself, my mates shared a box. Can't remember what they were, but I have never felt like that in my life, and I've done a lot of acid in my days. It was a good 12 hours until I actually started to feel good. Before that, I was an emotional wreck that didn't know whether I was coming or going, happy or sad, angry or happy, quiet or loud, energetic or chilled. Wasted a day in my hotel room because I was far too petrified to go outside. I don't like highs like that. I hate not being in control. I definitely went overboard.

Was funny though. Good times.

I didn't really know about the distinctions between truffles and other sorts before I went to the Dam but the truffles still absolutely screwed me over. I was a mess the whole night. Not so sure if I want to try the proper mushrooms now...
