Lol...sorry, Kermit...we'll still visit the 'dam as we're sick of the American bad-ittude we live with every day. I love this country, but a large portion of the population annoys me and I have to say that the Dutch really impressed us. Plus, Amsterdam is 13 quintillion times cooler than where we live. I can't sit outside a shop and smoke a joint watching boats glide by on a canal. I'd happily move to the 'dam and leave this place behind even if there was a coffeeshop down the street.
That being the case, I'd still be EXTREMELY excited if said shop did actually exist
lol!

Once we drop the B.S. about needing a Medical card to buy Pot and start selling it like Alcohol then we'll stop coming. But I think that might take a few years.

I asked my daughter if it happens after I die to plant some on my grave ( if she's not to old by then )
I have not been this exicted about the possable change to the MJ laws since Jimmy Carter was prez. Over 25% of the states have Med MJ, more and more local areas are makeing statements in their local elections, if the people lead the leaders will follow.
Found a video of this cafe. Looks like a pretty nice place, wonder why nobody's there. Possibly because the place just opened and nobody knows about it. If I understand this correctly it's $25 a month for a membership to this cafe and the weed is free. That's a ridiculously great deal.

I tend to agree with the posts in this thread, awesome that Portland, OR has a C/S. My question is how long will it stay open before the Feds close it down? Anyone who doubts that the Feds can't or won't, just ask some operators of MMJ pharmacies in Cali. Unless the State of Oregon passes legislation that legalized cannabis, this shop is destined to be closed, although I hope not. I for one would like to visit this shop.

- I thought it cheeky for some to actually believe that Americans influence the Dutch cannabis trade more than the Brits, Germans, or Belgians. If cannabis were legalized in the UK, this would have more of a negative economic impact on The Netherlands than if the US were to legalize.
- reply to metal4mullets: I couldn't agree more with what you wrote. This is more or less why I decided to live in Europe. I love the idea of the US relaxing its attitude towards cannabis, but the majority of people are still wankers. Even if every State legalized cannabis and the US Govt minded its own business, I would not return to live there.
- reply to Marco: I would go as far as stating that they wouldn't be missed at all.
- reply to Twitch: My opinion is that you won't have to wait more than 5 years before seeing cannabis legalized somewhere in the world, most likely a State in the US.

I live here...YOU DON'T. Sick is a subjective word. Severe pain qualifies you for a medical marijuana card. There are over 20,000 card holders in Oregon and 80% of them list "severe pain" as the reason for having the card. You think you know everything about everything and actually don't know shit about anything. Dumb fuck.

No, I am not another anti-American. I don't know who Adamster is, but I am sure he/she has reasons for not liking the US, along with more than half the worlds population.
And if you are inferring that I am a fuckhead, then we should meet. I think I can convince you that not only am I not anti-American, I am not a fuckhead either. Date, time, and place if you please.
Peace.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I served in the US Army for 24 years. And if I decide to bash the US and its citizens, I have earned the right to do so, although I rarely do.
