- I thought it cheeky for some to actually believe that Americans influence the Dutch cannabis trade more than the Brits, Germans, or Belgians. If cannabis were legalized in the UK, this would have more of a negative economic impact on The Netherlands than if the US were to legalize.
- reply to metal4mullets: I couldn't agree more with what you wrote. This is more or less why I decided to live in Europe. I love the idea of the US relaxing its attitude towards cannabis, but the majority of people are still wankers. Even if every State legalized cannabis and the US Govt minded its own business, I would not return to live there.
- reply to Marco: I would go as far as stating that they wouldn't be missed at all.
- reply to Twitch: My opinion is that you won't have to wait more than 5 years before seeing cannabis legalized somewhere in the world, most likely a State in the US.

Not so free. I enjoy more personal freedoms in Germany than I ever did in the US. There is an old American saying, "America, love it or leave it." Even though I decided to leave, sort of, I still love my country and some of its people, mostly I love, admire, and respect what America is supposed to stand for: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

As Stanky Danky pointed out, error in reading comprehension, my mistake. I was under the impression that you were referring to anyone that was anti-American as a fuckhead, and that you included me in your assessment.

I am not anti-American. I am, among many things, anti-ignorance and vocal about it. I think it safe to state that some, me especially, have made hasty assumptions in this thread.

It's all good Uncle Ron. For the record, I don't view you as anti-American. To be perfectly honest, I know a lot of people around the world don't approve of the actions and policies of the US government. However, the US government doesn't wage war by plebiscite. I respect everyone's right to have an opinion as well. But when someone like Adamster expresses their hatred over and over, again and again, it gets old. To be honest, Adamster reminds me of Hitler or Ahmadinejad with the repeated diatribes and vitriol. Everyone knows how he feels - what's the point of saying it over and over?
But anyway, like I said, it's all good. My apologies for any misunderstandings.
