Hi ACD members

Post by Lazaris »

Hi,

Lazaris finally has decided to become a member of ACD after lurking
for the longest time. About 3 years ago use ACD to make a list of
coffeeshops to visit during my first vacation in NL. Enschede was the
first town I bought some gear, and started with a mixed joint of White
Widow and Amnesia. After half a joint, I was completely toasted, and
had to leave my car parked for a few hours, while I walked to my hotel
to take a small break.

This is when I fell in love with Amnesia, and have been looking for the
recipe (genetics) of this plant. Recently some interesting information has
surfaced that has confirmed that Soma might have not been completely
honest about what he used to create it.

He said in an article that it is a South East Asian Sativa x Hawwaai/Afgani
Indica, but it turns out it is most likely (Afgani x Neville's Haze) x (g13 x
Haze), and the last he received from Shantibaba. The Afgani x Neville's
Haze is actually the Amnesia that the Hy-Pro seed company is selling, and
from which a few cuts have also been growing in NL and sold under the
name of Amnesia.

So this stuff is really confusing with people not being completely honest
about the genetics that are in the seeds they are selling to you.

...anyway, enough about that!

I have been a member of Ic Mag for many years, but now have decided
to also join this awesome site, since I will not be growing, as I have been
hoping. This hobby will be put on the back burner for now, and instead
I will be chillin in the Netherlands from now on, and enjoying the meds
from the coffeeshops and the fine folks I know in NL.

I love smoking hazes, but do enjoy other sativas once in a while. Indica
dominant strains are not my thing, since I love the sativa head-buz the
most and this is why Neville's Haze, Amnesia Haze, and Super Silver Haze
are my favorite.

The amnesia cut that is being grown out in the Netherlands and being
sold as Amnesia has turned out to be a pheno of the Super Silver Haze
grown from a seed that came from The Greenhouse seed company when
Shantibaba was still co-owner.

Anyway, hope to meet a few folks from ACD during the HTCC since I will
be making the rounds in Amsterdam and Haarlem during those days.

Later,

Lazaris

"High" and Hello " the name game " If you take 5 clones from the same plant and give them to 5 diffrent growers you will end up with 5 diffrent plants, simalar but still unique to the growers touch.

...I grew up in the USA, and choking the chicken, meant only one thing
and I personally don't find anything bad about your avatar, or about that
activity, and Andrew Dice Clay doesn't either :D

yep - its a standard phrase in the UK as well, I just never made the connection!

The picture or similiar has been my avatar for many, many moons on various forums etc, so it just made me giggle thinking how many people had made that connection and not mentioned it! :)

GJ...I am pretty sure nobody said anything because they "assumed" that
this is why you are using the avatar...because of the funny association
with choking the chicken

Another funny thing comes to mind...about Mr. Dover, first name Ben,
how some one asks if he is here...Mr. Bend-over...lol

The weirdest stuff comes to mind when using the "meds" especially
filled with thc that is sativa-dom!

Welcome Lazaris :)

I like your AV, it looks quite mouth watering. Is it really a splendid looking nugget, or has my sativa dominant high got the better of my imagination?
What a long strange trip it is.

...it is a DJ Short F-13 nugget, which is considered to be the "holy grail"
cannabis by the breeder himself, and obviously by many other fine folks.

One day I dream about growing out and breeding some of his genetics
when I have the time and location for this little dream of mine.
