Please do. I'm thinking of going on 4/20(which is on a Tuesday, strangely enough).

Yes!!! It's going to be awesome. We have a Russian style sauna that I like to go to in New York City which is fun(although I'm guessing this sauna won't get quite as hot). I'm thinking of starting my day with a sauna, massage, and quick toke for 4/20.

That's the one. It's called the Russian Turkish Baths. Did you ever get the platza oak leaf thing done?

Saunas

Post by SeniorHippies »

In the days of my youth I belonged to a health club with sauna facilities. I always found that a good session in the sauna and the cold bath had one unadvertised benefit; I could get high again on my weed. I have always smoked a bunch, some say too much. As we all know, if you smoke too much you have to smoke more to get a proper buzz. After 3 cycles of 8 minutes in the sauna and 3 in the cold shower or pool, it was like I hadn't smoked in a week. Are there regular sauna users out there who have noticed this? I've always assumed it helped sweat the alkaloids out of my body. Any physiologists out there with confirmation or other explanation?

Maybe I'll give this place a try in the spring when I'm in A'dam.

Love and Peace to all.
