Quit bashing the guy. You read his post. He's just trying to say keep your eyes open and inspect your weed. Shit happens every now and then and in this particular case, that's just what happened. He didn't want to bash the C.S., he was just pointing something out he found...plain and simple. If it was a top notch C.S., would you stop going there? I don't think so, but you would be inclined to check out their wares a little closer, I would.
Puffin13 puts out some good posts and I repect him for that, and enjoy reading them. Same as you Boner, you've been on this site a long time, and I enjoy reading your posts and repect what you have to say, even though we might disagree on things from time to time, so let's cut Puffin13 some slack.

there is a latin phrase which when translated is "buyer beware"

basically this means that when i am buying something, anything, i am responsible for what i buy, so if its weed i want to see it before i buy it or smoke it

and, in this instance, to the coffeeshop's/budtender's credit, good customer service was given and the weed taken back, and that's the way it should be

I went into a shop, the first day of the CC and asked to see xxx, which was their CC entry, I bought a few grams and as I was breaking it up with my fingers I noticed an excessive amount of "white". Upon closer inspection, it was either white powdery mildew or mold. I returned the few grams to the bud tender and got my money back. Greed has definitely taken over at some cs's, so watch carefully what you buy. Pot Peace.
I have decided, after seeing that this shop really doesnt seem to care about their reputation, who they rip off and who they sell moldy weed to, I am moved to "name and shame". I am so tired of these greedy mother fuckers making millions of Euros a year selling weed and then selling potentially harmful marijuana just so they dont lose a few Euros. It makes me sick!

In my experience that I quoted above, the shop is Mellow Yellow and the strain was Sleeze Stick. I have witnessed this happening a 2nd time, again Sleeze Stick, and nothing was done about it. It was business as usual; ie they continued to sell it even though the staff knew it was moldy bud.

I was also told by an MY staff, I did not witness this one, that this also occurred with the strain Silver Cheese; though more recently than the CC. One of the dealers was actually recommending this to buyers as some really good weed. Some fucked up shit!!!

Selling potentially health damaging weed just to make a few extra bucks, to me, is appalling! As StonedSince'67 said,
"buyer beware"
.
Smoke safe, people! Peace.

Good advice Puffin, regardless of which shop it was.

I can't say i will ever stop going to a shop just because one person has told me of a bad experience there, if i did that then i would only have a handful to choose from! But its nice to use other peoples experiences to help decide for yourself and be more careful.

Interesting that the MY thread in the reviews section hasn't been cross-referenced back here since the current (page 15/16 at time of writing) is relivent

Page 15 has a picture, and subsequent discussion.

Never been to MY, but it seems to have generally good rep on here, seems its doing a bit of a Eurostar at present..... maby both companies need to re-asses their methods :) nand their livery (another thing they share)

anyhow : link : https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... &start=210

Lets hope its a blip, and good service can resume promptly

---- Boner ... whats your opinion of the white stuff .... ?

This is what happens when people express their viewpoints.

You form your own view anyways.

I've said it before, ive had a few bad experiences at MY that has resulted in me rarely going back.
