OMG 8 days, got a few questions!!

Post by stardust999 »

Hia all,

I am back in the dam for my 4th trip on the 3rd!!! I have not been since the smoking ban (smoked in the hotel last time lol!!) so intrigued to see what it is like!!

My question is about the best place to smoke nearer the station as we are staying at the Convent hotel on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. This is an area we have not explored that well before as always stayed near Rembrandtplein. Especially looking for places that still allow you to mix with tobacco!!!!

SOOOOO excited know it is a girly thing but packing already!!!

Thanks in advance

Central coffeeshop is opposite the station, but is only a buy and fly shop

Resin is also just across the road from the station

Head up the Haarlemerstraat for a good selection, Barneys, Popeye, Dampkring II and Picasso to name a few

Rastababy, Hollywood and are also close to the station but not shops that i go in often

Also around you and within walking Distance is and Homegrown Fantasy, one of my favourites, maybe the closest to your hotel :-)

There are more around your hotel, have a look on Lemmings map but everywhere is easily accesible by foot.

Hope you have a good trip

Some shops, like Bluebird, Rusland, Siberie have tobacco smoking areas, but almost all other shops dont mind you using tobacco, just do not leave you cigerette box or pouch in view, put it back in your bag or pocket

have a good one

Your closest coffeeshop will more than likey be Homegrown Fantasy, you can see it on the map here: https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/Map.html Ref: E3

I'd be Grasshoppers best customer if they were open near me.

I agree with Boner...if Grasshopper were in my neighborhood I'd be a permanent fixture.

But if Grasshopper and HGF were both in my neighborhood, I'd always choose HGF!
