If I see it for sale anywhere I'll grab a bottle but I imagine it'll taste too strong to go with the beer flavour.

I really want a bottle of this now.

Love to try it too, although I reckon it would be a sipping beer and probably quite syrupy and sweet, a bit like Tennants Extra or Special Brew.

I've tried several beers in Amsterdam from the 10-13% range and they're a lot more mellow and easily drunk compared to tramps brew (special/super), I think the way they've made it will make it a lot nicer to drink as well, on their website it's £47 a bottle delivered, I could get 2 bottles of Makers Mark for that money so I'll probably pass.

I don't think I've had anything higher than 9% in beer. I've tried Special Brew once, had 4 cans and could only sip the stuff and the viscosity was high, I thought. Yes, it's rough stuff but had to sample it and it was very strong too.

This is one of the reasons I like visiting Amsterdam either solo or with friends, those cosy Brown Bars with beer I've never tried before. Hope to be going to the Oktoberfest next year and can't wait for that.

Interesting, but I can’t see it tasting very nice, and for the price I would rather get a bottle of Glenmorangie Quina Ruban £33.
