Right, after trying a few beers in A'dam (mainly belgian), my favourite was Pauwel Kwak.
Have found somewhere to get it but was after some other suggestions. Would like to try a few this christmas. Need to be available in th UK.

Cheers!

Any of the Leffes are nice, Blond is my personal favourite, if you like the Kwak you'd probably like the stronger ones like the Brune or the Triple.

King Cobra is real nice as well.

I do like the odd Hoegaarden as well.

Most of the supermarkets have quite a good range of Belgium beers nowadays.

I adore Leffe, especially the blonde in the wine bottle size with champagne style popping cork.

Had one of these below, in a large pressurised keg a few days ago, it was a fun novelty I simply had to try out and don't do what I forgot to do and make sure to chill it for a day, before having it. Doh!

I love those kegs, they seem to last forever, luckily I have a few Heiny glasses so I can drink it a bit more authentically.

i got a couple of the small glasses, from when they used to give them out free after the heineken brewery tours, also got an old fasioned heine jug which i bought from their gift shop + wouldn't mind getting my hands on a leffe glass

Leffe is lovely, used to drink far too much of the Trippel - is it just me or can you not get it in the UK - my local supermarkets used to stock it but stopped :-)

There's some nice variants in blue and red bottles etc but I haven't seen them outside of Dutch supermarkets and In De Wildeman in Amsterdam.

Duval is yummy, really like Chimay as well but haven't had it for years.

The Westmalle is very nice (not the UK but picked up some in Deen in Purmerend a few weeks ago for 70p a bottle - bargain !)

Orval is good and so is La Chouffe.

I have a Leffe glass amongst others (I have about 10 differant glasses to match differant beers), keep an eye out in Tesco from the beginning of December, they usually have some glasses for sale, it's where I pick most of mine up from.

Here's another online place that has loads of differant beers: http://www.beersofeurope.co.uk/ - they do glasses here as well.

Edit: Took a pic of my glasses, I'm actualy missing a few as I'd forgot the Mrs (aka butter fingers) has broken a few.

The Amstel one came from 420 thanks to a light fingered friend of mine. ;)

Yeah they're from the tour, we normally go if it's raining a lot, I'll have to go to get one of those bottle openers though they look pretty cool.
