Tuesday20 Oct. We all had a relaxing morning having breakfast and hits off the bowl. Rembrandthuis is across the street from the square were Reefer is located and were our houseboat is. You can see the Museum from the houseboat. They only had to swipe the pass and we were in, we all took the free audio tour,. The house showed were he lived and worked; they even have a plate and print making demonstration.
The Reefer was open when we came out of the Rembrandthuis Went in for some drinks and a smoke, finishing up what we have so we can get more.
Walked to the Waterlooplein market bought some trinkets and bobbles for gifts, found our way into City Hall and looked at the “Normal Amsterdam Peil” it is a free display about the sea level in Amsterdam, there is also a relief their about the sand bars that Amsterdam is built on. I think it is very cool. We walked over to the Resistance Museum. This Museum is one of my favorite; we spent more time there than we had planned .We grabbed a very late lunch at the café next door, found a tram to the Van Gogh Museum and went right in with our pass.
Last night we lost our coffee shop map, Robyn new that Dutch Flowers and Tweede Kamer were in the spui area but we found Kadinsky. Ordered up some Big Buddha Cheese, some drinks and a smoke, we are on vacation and Robyn is getting paid, and we are in Amsterdam, life is good. NOW we have got to have pastry, so off to Rene’s Croissanterie on Damstraat 20 we go, on our way to the houseboat to devour our pastry and to freshen up.
Back out on to the Damstraat for some Wok to Go but first more smoke, we followed our nose into the what we thought from the sign was the “Best Coffeeshop” the word Paradise, on the sign was that faded. We ventured in and purchased some purple weed and some Moroc Special, had a smoke and were off to Wok to Go and back home to smoke and get ready for our last full day in Amsterdam.
The purple weed was sh#t, we threw it away, but the hash was real good, so good we decided to smoke hash all day tomorrow.

Wednesday 21 Oct. Today is “Hash Wednesday” and we start with the Moroc Specill from the night before. Then we were off to the Bluebird for some Kashmir Hash, used the Vaporizer.
Walking over to the Amsterdam Historical Museum we detour through the Beginhof, through the portal off of the Spui.
The Amsterdam Historical Museum is another one of my favorites; it takes you through the history of the region and the city. It even has, as part of its current period display, a dealer’s case from Mellow Yellow. How cool is this city. This is a must see museum for any one who loves this city.
We are now at Dutch Flowers, we found it today we were only 1 short block away yesterday but that dam advertising ban there were no signage out to see from afar. Malana Double Cream Hash from India was in the pipe as drinks were on the table and we enjoyed a short break.
Walked to the OudeKirk, the inside of the church was under renovations but you could still see a lot and something you don’t always see is the moving of the grave covers.
Old Church Coffee shop was well right there, so we went in and purchased some Red Lebanese Hash, and relaxed as we watched this little corner of the red light district go bye. Prawn Sate’ we had to have some Prawn Sate’ so off we go to Wok to Go, our new favorite Chinese restaurant.
The Hermitage Museum is open till 20:00 so we hop a tram and wander around the museum looking at the opulence of the Russian Aristocracy. This is a new Museum made from a former housing unit.
Greenhouse Namaste was close by; we had the King Hassan Polm from Morocco.
Spent the rest of the night, after Rene’s and Wok to Go, at home packing, tockeing, eating, drinking, and tokeing. Brief break to go to Reefer for some Space cakes, but they were closed so around the corner to the Bluebird. We have an early flight tomorrow and we ate all our pastries and needed something for breakfast.
Thursday 22 Oct. up at 7:00 and on the road to the airport. Space cakes will not last the flight home. Flying home sucks in all kinds of ways.
Thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to babble on about my travels.
Spidergawd it was nice to meet you also and do hope to share the same time in Amsterdam as you in the future.
Geoffk I really enjoyed the south of france and hope you and your wife had a lovely honeymoon their as well
Metel4mullets with all of the coffee shops in Amsterdam I keep going back to the ones I feel comfortable with. We tried a lot of new shops on this trip though.
StoneSince67 The high speed trains were cool but it is easier and cheaper to train on the ICE trains in Germany. We used the Eurorail Pass when we travel but would rethink that logic if we ever go back to France; the French require advanced reservations with an additional fee. The Thalys was way to expensive this way.
Cisco I remember you were not feeling well, I hope to share the same time in Amsterdam as you in the future also.
In fact I hope to share the same time in Amsterdam with all the members of this fine forum, if only to dream. Now that would be a talk and toke.

Yeah they had a couple guys in the crowd help load up the trebuchet and crank it down.
I spent about 3 weeks in Germany in 2006 for the World Cup. I loved it. As far as Bavaria, we hit Munchen, Freiberg and Stuttgart (if that's in Bavaria
) We brought some polm and enjoyed it in the big park in Munchen with the pagoda biergaarten.
