Uhm, hi.

I actually just moved to Amsterdam from Sweden. Never been here before, so i was kind of surprised by how easy it was for me to feel at home. Now i still get lost all the time, and I can't speak a word of dutch, but I've managed to survive soon two months and am quite happy about that.

Really I'm a 19-year-old housewife, I just love to cook, bake, and take care of kids. Which is why I've been a day-care teacher as well as a kitchen slave and waitress. For the moment however, the language stands pretty much in the way of me getting a job.

But well, now I live out west, close to Mercator. I'll do my best to check out and report on the coffeeshops around here.

Welcome! :D

Nothing wrong with being a housewife. In many ways, it's much more difficult than a lot of careers that people have. Hold your head high! 8)

Also, you're probably the coolest damn mom ever...;)

Wow, hold on! I don't have kids of my own just yet. ;)
I miss the day-care where I used to work though.

Oops! My bizzle!

Well...uh...it sounds like you'll be the coolest damn mom ever 8)

Are you actually Swedish? It seems as though you have quite a grasp on English if you are. Picking up Dutch shouldn't be incredibly difficult then.

I'm just about to learn Dutch by using the Rosetta Stone software. I'll try and remember to let you know how it works out :)
