I like them, but they already flooded the netherlands, you can already get them down in the south, which means it has made its round :)

In my part of the states, just adding that "Kush" name to whatever is being sold really, REALLY pulls in the noobs, they flock to it like pigs to slop. I have had some Actual Pink Kush in the past few weeks (I will review it in a sep post). I can't say it tops a haze for me...or just a good Sativer (hint, hint...Andy) haha.

Hindu Kush has been around for ages, I think the kush name is just another marketing ploy tbh.

If it's authentic Kush or not, as long as it gives me that really heavy Indica stone & smell I like, I'm a happy customer. But yeah, the majority of it is all marketing hype, unless of course you're talkin' bout California's Kush scene which is, IMO, off the chain.

Hindu Kush is actually a land race from Afghanistan, and is of no relation to OG Kush. There is alot of confusion when it comes to kush strains, alot of people think all of them are related. How OG Kush got it's name is a bit of a mystery when they is no evidence of kush in it's genetics. Google 'origins of OG Kush' and you will get several legends of a mystical strain originating from bagseed at a Grateful Dead show. The genetic makeup of OG Kush is unknown. I do somewhat agree with Boner that the word kush(and OG) is sometimes used as a marketing ploy, playing off all the hype that OG Kush created. I saw a picture of an old Grey Area menu where they had written up in the corner "OG Hindu Kush - ouch". I'm not sure who the intended target of this rip was, but I think it has something to do with coffeeshops selling Hindu Kush to unsuspecting customers who think they are getting a hybrid or version of the much hyped OG Kush. A perfect example of kush being used as a marketing ploy.
