November trip

Post by Substrata23 »

I have to say I really admire the people who have elaborate, detailed and photo laden trip reports on here as im back a few weeks now and I can only remember parts of the trip.

Our first stop was Abraxas where I bought really nice Amnesia Haze, my mate didnt like the Hawaiian Haze and it didnt smell as fresh as the Amnesia. My other buddies bought elephant that tasted like skunk to me and a piece of hash who's name I forget.

We then went to Hill Street Blues and I smoked some Amnesia in there, I didnt like the look of their weed but I didnt give them a chance I suppose.

I remember walking all over the city after a few bong hits and ended up in Basjoe where I engaged James in a chat and bought Orange Bud (not a orangey as last time I bought 2 years ago), Bas Special, stronger than it looked and really knocked me out, I bought some creme that was really nice sprinkled on top of a joint of pure Bas Special and then James talked me into buying a gram of Terminator. It knocked me out and was really strong but it was worth a try bigtime. Thanks to James for the Terminator.

We also visited Greenhouse, Popeye's and kadinsky where my mate got some shit hash (Popeyes), had a quick stop in 420 where I smoked some Bas Special and I cant remember if I bought anything.

The trip came and went so quickly and I just couldnt get through as much as I wished I had in front of me now. I was torn between wanting to smoke loads and seeing the city so I ended up walking around on my own as the lads were too wasted to go anywhere. Im glad I took the solo walks though, what a beautiful city full of cool neighborhoods and funky shops. I was not too impressed with the record shops, walked for ages to get to Concerto but was unimpressed with prices and range.

Best smoke - Amnesia Haze - Abraxas

Best CS - Abraxas

Best memory - the look on the cleaner guys face when he seen our apartment and he didnt know I had tried to clean it up before he arrived. :D

Its on split levels, theres alot of mainstream rock stuff, large soul section, big classical section , small electronica section. Lots of cd's seemed to be 14.99, I didnt stay too long as I was unimpressed with their electronica selection but It depends on what your into and I suppose its worth a trip even if its a bit out of the way. FAME off Dam square is alot worse but cheaper.
