Not that far.
Thanks again, guess I've been worring about nothing.
If you want to get it , you will. The guys on venice beach really did not seem to be strict. they just wanted to get the 160$ from every person that walked by. Try there first.

These clubs WANT to sell to you. They will help you get the card and tell you how to go about it.

Thanks again.
I admit to being an old pot head, but I have legitimate reasons for wanting to do this other than wanting to get good weed.
I have both Epilepsy and severe Migraines, which good Indica's help more than any Rx meds.

You will need a doctors recommendation AND a valid California photo ID to get into a proper medicann facility.

Isn't it strange that in all of that verbiage the only problems listed are "too many facilities" (ever heard of the free market?) and "too much money" Where are the stories about overdoses...what, cannabis has no "LD-50" rating?, crime, etc. etc.

LEGALIZE IT!!!

Sort of how I read it.
Does cannabis have an "LD-50" rating ??
Only over dose I've over heard about or seen is a whitey.
Can't deny there is crime involved around marijuana.
I think the way the laws are written they are supposed to " non-profit "

They are "non-profits". That only means that the owner/organization cannot show a profit. If all income is paid out in salaries and for bills there is no profit. There is no limit to what the salaries can be. E.g. Red Cross is an "non-profit. The top execs make millions.

There may be crime around cannabis (I refuse to use the racist name) but what about crime around dispensaries? Any more than around a liquor store or 7-11?

No, cannabis has no LD-50 number, no LD (lethal Dose) either. FFS even H2O has a LD-50 number!

O.K.,wasnt aware after 40+ years of smoking that marijuana was a racist name.
I know what an L.D.- 50 is., I know what non-profit is, you're not talking to some 15 year old.
No need to be so angry.
I realise it fit's your persona/av, but damn.

Hey there, apologies. I sure didn't mean to seem angry. I really don't see where I was. Peace OK? I wasn't "takling down" to you either. I'm new here, I don't know you and there are lots of people who don't understand that a person can still get rich running a non profit organization. Some people may not know what an LD-50 number means either but now I am afraid to explain it, lol.

The name "Marijuana" was used by the US government (Anslinger et al) and Hearst to more closely associate it with our brown neighbors to the south and to scare the bejesus out of their white neighbors to the north. I prefer cannabis (the latin name) or even Ganja.

Again, I am sorry I offended.

You won't have a problem getting the doctors reccomendation, but you won't be able to get into a dispensary without a California ID.
