And you wonder, why there isn't some kind of law to save people from themselves! Is buying twinkies a constitutional right? T
why there isn't some kind of law, Becouse then twinkies would be controlled by criminals, prohibition is not an answer in a free Nation.

Peace
The $100 for the ticket isn't the problem, It's the next time you arrive at LAX or JFK on business or holiday and 'the man' behind the desk looks at your passport, checks his computer, sees the ticket and the next thing you know you are on the first flight back home and banned from entry into the US for the next 500 years!!![]()
Peace,
Old School.
My point is/was...smoking a joint discretely has virtually no chance of ending up in any kind of police action. Years ago, prior to the decriminalization of cannabis, me and some mates were "getting ready" to go to a movie. Hash smoke was venting from the van as in a Cheech and Chong movie...a beat cop walked by, right through the effluvium... all he did was smile and wag his finger.
Come, toke, enjoy...don't worry, be happy!
There is no time like right now.

Thanks for the info guys, sorry if I came across as a little paranoid but my job is sensitive and my employer would not appreciate me picking up a ticket for posession.!! I'm in LA (Santa Monica) for 10 days in April.
So as you say I'll be discrete and avoid the cops!!
(All I gotta do then is find a source, If it were SF then no problem, but I havn't got a clue were to start looking in that part of the world!!

After 5 months of searching we found a condo and made on offer and it was accepted.
Closing 4/22.
Tried for 4/20
Will wait till I get a few utilitie bills etc., then apply for drivers license and then med card.
Maybe have by my 65th B.day.
Decided to go for drivers license as it seems to be the only real way to go.
Legal residence requires 51% time there and I plan on being close to that any way so a little fib won't hurt any one.

It's in San Diego and is a very nice condo, but we did find some problems on the inspection involving water damage in the bath rooms and are now doing the" Negotiation Dance " with owners.( it was built in 71 so does have some aging problems that I can relate toPauli Wallnuts wrote:yeah good job Twitch, wheres it at? i remember u saying San Diego was your prefered destination, but that it was ridiculously expensiveTwitch wrote:After 5 months of searching we found a condo and made on offer and it was accepted.

They have to let us know what they want to do by this Thursday.
Since our inspection will now go into the records I thing they will realize they have to repair these problems or lower price a little so things should go o.k.
IG, no prob. always welome, as are any of my friends from here.

If all goes well and I am able to get California MMJ card this looks like a place I would spend a lot of time.
Is about 15 minutes from condo
