Any updated information with regards to the scene in Venice? Is it still possible for a non-resident to get a recommendation from Kush Dr and then buy from their affiliated dispensary?

So not easy now for a non-resident to get Dr recommendation in California? Or more precisely a Dr recommendation which can be used at a california dispensary without a California id?

Shame I didn't see this post previously so I could have checked out the Venice scene. If nothing else but to view the scenery.
Was in L.A. for Christmas.
Summer 2011 I received a MMJ rx from a doc near Venice. Check the L.A. WEEKly
Scored w/o CA i.d. last summer in Melrose... convinced the bud tender that I'm local, which I am (in many ways & states, haha).
No reason for me to visit Venice Beach unless I'm with visitors but will put V.B. on an itinerary this year.
I still prefer A'dam's consistency to the variety of L.A.
Liked their Lemon haze, Green Krack was acceptable.
Back in EU w/ Amnesia Haze & others.

not easy now.
tons of recs got revoked due to shady 'medical practices' signing off on anyone with cash.
if you somehow manage to score a doctors rec, entering a dispensary w/out state id is your next challenge.
