Left the Uk on time and arrived at Schipol aftera 1 hour and 5 minute flight.
Straight through customs and then to Central Station. Where I find that the intense rain had followed me from the UK. Thankfully I did not have far to walk to the hotel.

Check in completed I decide to head off the Dampkring on Haarlemerstraast.
All the Coffeeshops along this stretch are full of people, I skip past Barneys and the Greenhouse and into the Dampkring.

The place is busy as usual I opt for a gram of Cheese, which looks really frosty. I sit down and proceed to grind the Cheese. After a couple of turns in the grinder, the Cheese has almost turned to dust, it is very dry.

Strong smell and a nice head stone but not one that I like at all, leaves me feeling panicky but wrecked.

Its very strong smell that is now overshadowed by the fact that its almost a pile a dust in a small peice of paper.

It smokes ok and I have a few more J's in here along with a Chocomel or 2.

I finish off the Cheese and go for food and then to unpack and make my plans for the next day.

Still raining, but undeterred, I mooch off to the other Dampkring Haandbogstraast.

Place is always busy.

I go for the G13 Amnesia. This again is very dry and smells great, with a nice head high and a realxed feeling. I have a couple of chocomel's and head off to the RLD after a few more J of the G13.

After hoofing around the RLD for an hour I decide to go to HGF. A Nice place HGF with a busy crowd, did not try their cup entry,as I still had the G13 left, I had another chocomel and finished off the G13.

Then went to Hunters in Waarmserstaast for warm up and a drink. Not many people here, so I go to Albert Heijn and then back to the hotel.

Its still raining.

More to follow once I have uploaded stuff to imageshack, whic is taking forever.

imageshack can take a while but they dont delete weed photos which is why they're probably the best to use.

Abraxas.

Bought the Hawaain Haze for 13e.

Got a chocomel and went upstairs and found a seat.

HH looked great and smelt of pine and flowers, Not to dry either, so I rolled up kingsize neaty as proceeded to light that thing up....





Now they say, whoever they are, that hindsight is a wonderful thing, and on reflection I think it was a bit of a mistake to roll up a kingsize neaty of this stuff as I could not move for the next 2 hours.

I did think about moving, putting my coat on, packing my stuff into my pocket and going for a walk downthe spiral staircase and out into the big wide world. However, this idea quickly evaporated when I realised I could not stand up on my own, so walking was a definate no no. So I just sat there for 2 hours with a stupid grin on my face and waited for the wave after wave of highness to subside. The HH kept coming back again and again with a real headspanker of a high.

I had a single skinner and then left.....

planet earth and I can only assume I was floating around in space somewhere as by the time I got to the hotel it was 6.45 pm, I went into Abraxas at 11.30am!!

Green Place pm

Wnet to Greem Place, nice place indeed good selection of weed I went for the Blueberry Haze, nice tight little nugs smell of haze and flowers with a sweet undertone. This was no where near as strong as the Hawaain which I was quite pleased about. I stayed in here for the rest of the evenning and smoked all of BHaze. So no pics here.

Green Place to try the Chocolope.




Very nice taste and cured well not too dry. flavour of choc with a nice head high too.

I thought I would stay in here for a bit to work my way through some of the menu.

I wanted to buy a gram of their cup entry Head Band (OG Kush x Sour Diesel) but I was refused this as I was not there for the cup.

So i had the rest of the Chocolope and went for a walk.

Back to Green Place in the evenning and this time I was able to buy the Head Band, their entry for the cup.



I liked the flavour of this alot a real sour taste head high with a little body stone very nice combination of flavours with the kush and the sour.


The place was busy and as I looked around one of the guys handed me a 30g pure j of their sour bubble, well it would of been rude to refuse it so I have a couple of tokes and pass it on.

I get talking to an American couple this is their 2nd time at the cup and they have loads of free samples to try as well buying stuff in the coffeeshops.

We talk about the amount of really dry weed about and they confirm they have had a fair bit of it too it taked 2 turns in a grinder and thats it, no more.

The big J is arounfd again and I have a couple more tokes before coughing my way to the dealer to ask what is in that J. He laughs at me trying not to look to wasted, we have a quick bit of banter abut that J and I go back to hanging onto my seat for all I can as now the place is packed.

I say good bye to the American couple who have to leave to go to the next place. I stayed in GP for another hour and then leave to get food.

Greeen Place again

This time for the Strawberry Kush.





Never tried this strain before, like all the rest on this trip its, new stuff to try.

Very nice small tight nugs with a rose coloured hue to them. Smoke is tasty and smooth at first then with a little tickle at the back of the throat. A good head high.

Today is walk over to Coffeeshop Little day.


A Chocomel and a gram of Amnesia Haze.

Very nice haze strong smelling with a clear head high that keeps me here for a couple of hours just chilling watching a film.

A couple more neat J follow and Iam relaxed at last.





I stay in here untill the AH is gone and then head back to the hotel and get some food on the way.

Back to C/s Little Today I reached a ripe old age well into my middle 40's anyway.

I decide to have a mix j, I had taken a small peice out of each gram so far and put it into a seperate bag especially for today.

I make this multi mix j my 1st of the day and dont move very far from C/S again. Went for pizza.

then to Abraxas for some Silver Haze.




Silver Haze smelt of haze and flowers again very nice tatse and that typical haze high which I love.

I smoke the reat of the Silver Haze and go back to Hotel having had a god walk around the RLD, well it was my birthday....

Mellow Yello

Not been in here for ages, I try their Sleezestick which I think is sourd x with Haze?

Smells looks and tastes alot like the Head Band from Green Place.

A few J's and the stone and high hits home nicely, the sun is shinning and their are people just walking around outside loking into the c/s now and again.

Hunters

The sun is shinning and all is right with the world, well when I say world, I mean my little world in Amsterdam.




I decide to go fro the NYCD.

smells great like fresh watercress, good size bud. I roll up a J and take in the flavour and the ambience of Hunters.

I like the high and taste of the NYCD. I then walk to Vondel Park and around and then down to the centre again. The NYCD is a bit intense and keeps me lost in the centre for at least an hour before I get my bearings again and remember what I was doing.





After that went for food and to think what I was going to do on my last day in Amsterdam.

Last day here.

Well its been acracking good trip this time around. I have never had a bad time in this city ever and I have been coming here for 9 years.

The sun is out and I go and buy some Organic Coffee for a mate of mine and get a few packets for myself too.

Back to the centre again to buy some pressies for the relatives.

Then food and off to the hotel for a little cat nap.

Err no!, I decide to go for beer so wnet into the irish pub on Neweidstidjt or something like that, in here i gettalking to the barmaid. She has her own fashion label.

About this time Iam on my 3rd pint of Guiness and an American chap comes in and starts talking to me we have a good old chat and henI go anf buy some Blueberry special from Coffeeshop freeworld across the street.

I go back to the pub and ask if I can smoke a j in their smoking room. Yes noproblem she replies.

Dave the american guy hasnt got a clue how to go about buying weed or rolling a j so I talk him through the process and we smoke a couple of large neat j's. Bynow I have had about 5 pints most of them bought for me by Dave the American.

2 Welsh lad come and sit down and we all proceed to have a talk about weed. I look around and Dave has gone back to his hotel to see how his sister is.

I talk to the Welsh guys and have to leave as Iam beginning to see double. I give them the last of the BSpecial and 1 of the guys gives some of his Homegrown.

Cant remember what it was, but it tasted good .

Well now back at the Hotel I decide to go for food to help soak up some of the beer.

Food done back to Hotel to pack and a shower set the alarm and contemplate my trip for 2009.

Every time I come to Amsterdam on my own, (My mates can never get it together enough to go with me) I meet some really intersting people.

This trip has been no exception On my birthday I meet a guy from Vancouver who is on a stop over before going to Scotland he runs cultural events in Vancouver and is of Scottish Asian descent.

He is planning events in Vancouver for St.Andrews day loads of people attend, he is going to do a radio feedback to CBC Vancouver from Scotland. Gung haggis fat choy.

I meet up with 2 people who are musicians from Israel, they are going on tour in America. White flag music.

Dave from America, the 2 welsh guys, the American couple, the barmaid Natalie who had her own fashion label original giorgi.

Great trip.
In all I smoked Cheese, G13 Amnesia,Blueberry Haze, chocolope, Head Band, Sleezestick, NYCD, Hawaain Haze, Silver Haze, Blueberry Special, silver pearl/bubble, Strawberry Kush and Amnesia Haze

I wake in the morning and off I go back home to the Sunny but cold south coast of the UK, thinking about my next trip and making plans along the way to help me keep my sanity until my next holiday.

I had the exact same experience there. Yuck.
