Well its time for me to make another trip to 'dam. And to be honest i cant wait. I just got a few questions i was hoping you pro's cud help me with. basically how is 'dam over the christmas period...will all coffeeshops still be open?

Also i have a list of shops im looking to hit up in the first day...let me know what you think and how there cro is this time of year...Any other recommendations are much appreciated....

Plan -
-Dampkring
-Rokerij II
-Amnesia
-Grey Area
-Abraxas
-Homegrown Fantasy
-420 ( i like to jam here for a while, they got a huge table at the end of the shop, perfect for cards etc )

Thats my starting list, based on the fact they gave a good impression last time.

I also went to a few shops last time where there was a lot of bean bags and cushions about, somewhere u can really relax....could you guys tell me the names of these places.....i think one of them is by where la canna use to be but i might be mistaken.......

Thanks for the help guys

Also im looking to do a full report while im there....pics + maybe videos....

You have been posted on the December Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=30589

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

Coffeeshops will be open.

There are enough people there any of those dates to do a Toke and Talk.

As I see it a Toke and Talk is a win, win, win situation.

1. Nobody shows up. You have spent an hour in a coffeeshop of your choice.
This goes in my win column.

2. One or more people show up. You meet some new friends in a great atmosphere. Yep, another win.

3. Everyone in town shows up and it turns into a coffeeshop crawl.
This might be the biggest win of all.

All I need is a date, time and coffeeshop and I'll post it.

Enjoy

I have another suggestion for you. Do a day trip to Haarlem.

Haarlem Coffeeshop Map

If you do go, be sure to visit Birdy. It's my personal favorite Haarlem shop.

It's a twenty minute train ride.

My itinerary would be:

Get there around noon.

Spend am hour or so at Birdy, probably with some of their Knetter.

Go to V&D for lunch at the restaurant on the top floor for the view.

Do a four or five shop crawl and be back in Amsterdam by 6pm.

Big fun.
