Saunas

Post by SeniorHippies »

Iposted a reply to the thread about Sauna Fenomeen (sic?), but have decided to post it as a new thread.

In the days of my youth I belonged to a health club with sauna facilities. I always found that a good session in the sauna and the cold bath had one unadvertised benefit; I could get high again on my weed. I have always smoked a bunch, some say too much. As we all know, if you smoke too much you have to smoke more to get a proper buzz. After 3 cycles of 8 minutes in the sauna and 3 in the cold shower or pool, it was like I hadn't smoked in a week. Are there regular sauna users out there who have noticed this? I've always assumed it helped sweat the alkaloids out of my body. Any physiologists out there with confirmation or other explanation?

I dont know all the details ,i only now that saunas are very healthy for you body, taking away alot of garbage from you "sistem",just wanna point one thing,it suppose to be-very very hot and then very very cold ,that contrast is the corner stone of the baths and saunas.Like in Russia people jump out of hot term onto the snow or a frozen pond

I've tried saunas in Finland and Sweden. The weed is so poor there however, that it didn't feel like there was any difference afterwards.

A good session in the sauna will, however, help a lot in de-toxing after a hangover.
10 B&H + a packet of rizla,not the greens
