True, but what you find to be a great others might think is shit. In the end it's just an opinion. I tend to take all opinions into consideration. If a strain gets bashed alot I'll probably stay away from it. On the other hand if alot of people praise a strain there's a good chance I'll try it.

Well then why not look through the rest of this section of the forum and make a list of everything that people have liked. There surely has to be enough of them to avoid having to think about whats crap.

Indeed, it is getting a bit Monty Python, we are debating about our right or not to debate if we dont like something, isnt this the whole point of a forum, a free deabte, if you dont wanna read it then dont I say..

There is merit in mentioning where the crap buds are that week, saves a lot of wasted money/effort. Trouble is that its only valid comment on the day/week its written, next day in comes a better batch of say Amnesia Haze at Mellow Yellow and then our gloomy comments are out of date. Same for a glowing report mind you. So all Im saying is that yeah great, pass on the info, but its got a very short sell by date....

BTW Im new to Channels, cant beleive how vicious it is. Hope this never becomes like that...

oh cmon guys, if you had ever read any of my posts you would know I am not telling people what to do or not, I am always saying if you dont disturb anyone else do whatever you want.

I just say, this thread wont help us!

Instead of telling people which strain is bad at the moment, we should try to educate "newbies" to get a sense for good weed/hash and how you recognize it, THAT would help a lot of people much more

The problem with this thread (and I'm all for discussion and opinions) is that it will be a dumping ground for bad baggage

I hate the strain called poopydoop (its made up!) but in the poopydoop thread elsewhere on this site, it gets an 76% aproval rating..... Mr reader of this thread reads my comments, stays away (as he doesn't see the other thread) and misses a bloody good smoke, all because my poopydoop was a bit off and I over grumbled here. Given the fact this is a negative thread, it would be inappropriate, off topic and tangenting to rebutt

They say you tell 10 ppl of a bad and 1 of a good.

maby a better thread would be a "strain alert" where a bad batch is posted, but link your 'alert' BACK to the strain thread, to give someone half a chance to see if its common.

additionally my apologies if i was too strong in my other post - ironically i was having a bad day
