i was wondering if all coffeeshops have set the menu so you can only buy as is printed....e.g. Amnesia haze 13€ gr....or could i go into a coffeeshop and and instead of buying 3 or 4 different grams...could i ask for half grams of a few different strains so i can get my taste on for half the price??

Just came to mind as i thought i would be able to sample alot more strains this way....the amount of times ive been occupied finishing off the gram of a strain im not to keen on just so it doesnt go to waste when i could be spending that time smoking a fat zoot of my favourite.

The only time I have heard of people buying less than a gram was for like 80$ isolator hash. It wouldn't hurt to ask the bud tender, but you may get a weird reaction.

most coffeeshops will only do 1g minimum buys.you might be met with abit of attitude if you ask. some will let you do, particually if you buy several strains at the one time.
personally i dot really see the point in buying anything less than a gram (its not really going to last very long) as its only 2-3 joints worth (1 if its pure grass)

Some shops will sell half grams. I have done that quite a few times.I can't recall which ones right now, however, just ask your Bud Tender. If you buy a lot of different gear during your trip it can really add up. I sample 25 to 30 different strains in one trip. I don't want to waste my Euros on a strain that ends up being crap! If I like something I bought as a half gram I can always buy more.

Cheers!

Any shop that considers themselves..'good' should do half grams, there's no harm in askin.

I had no problem buying 5E worth at Greenhouse Centrum this past summer. Also Katsu has a few 5E strains that are less than a gram.

Peace,
Balou

Had no issues with half g's here, but I do tend to do it with the stupidly expensive strains (like the bushdoctor extracts).

Half a gram would be good to sample the stuff,Theres no good going to barneys for example & paying like 15 euros for an average bag of herb when it could have been avoided.

As already said, just politely ask and you may be surpised.

I don't ask that often to be honest so can't give great advice, but i have had half grams from the old Pink Floyd and Tweede Kamer before when it wasn't written on the menu.

We bought half-grams at GA. We already had too much gear so I politely asked and the budtender had no problem with it. He also was the only person who allowed me to take a photo of the menu. After purchasing our gear I decided to buy some merch as well because we were pretty impressed with the service.

Also, La Tertulia sells pre-weighed bags that are less than a gram. I think they're €5 bags or something. Supposedly, it's a pretty nice shop run by a mother and daughter team. Good edibles as well.
