Superb advert for Boxing, epic contest, like two gladiators from a distant era, they fought with pride and no little Skill. Both Fighters can hold thier heads high after that one....Image

What a load of old tosh!
Nicely worked out retirement purse for Harrison then, biggest payout he has ever had £1.5 mill?
He shuffled about for nearly 3 rounds (7.5 min) without throwing a left and poking out maybe a couple of right jabs, what a waste of time and money for the paying public.
Haye said he predicted a KO in round 3 and it happened, I don’t think Harrison took a dive but it could look that way to add fuel to the fire.
Not the best night for British boxing and its credibility.
My personal view for some years is that Harrison has never been quite up to the mark mentally at top level and primarily the hype plus some ‘no more than decent’ boxing skills got him the challenge and the ‘golden purse’
Whilst Harrison can’t hold his head high he has the comfort of a few quid in the bank.
Haye has it all to do to now to step up to the challenge of the Klitschko’s where I am sure there will be a few meaningful punches thrown, although he did finish off tonight’s fight fairly efficiently.
I’ve quite liked Haye since his carry on with the giant Valuev so let’s see what he’s got in the tank with some decent opposition.
Fight rating for me
Hype 9 out of 10
Actual 1 out of 10

Put your hand up if you wasted 15 quid on the fight....

*raises hand in angry fashion.*

Harrison was scared, he is a joke, they sold the fight so well, both of them, everyone was hoping Harrison would make a fight of it, but i dont think anyone had a doubt that Haye would win. A nice warm up for both? of the Klitchko's :-)

What happened in the Pacman fight?

Oh and i dont think it was £15 wasted because the was Haye finished him off had a touch of class to it :-)

Mike Lee (trainer is Ronnie Shields) will beat the living hell out of Keith Debow in the 175# class.

You heard it here first...hide and watch.
Keep an eye on this kid....

Pacquiao-Margarito undercard:
November 13, 2010 8:54 PM

"Notre Dame alumnus Mike Lee improved to 3-0 (2 KOs) with a first-round knockout of Keith Debow at Cowboys Stadium on Saturday night. Lee dropped Debow with a left hook-overhand right combination to the head, and the referee stopped the bout at the 1:33 mark.

The fight was featured on the undercard to the highly anticipated Super Welterweight World Championship between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito."

  m8 i wasnt being sarcastic, i was talking about the pacman fight, haye fight was exactly what i expected, 2 fighters who dont give a shit about the sport or their reputations, just their pockets, hayes just as bad as audley imo, i havnt seen an exciting haye fight, he's had numerous chances to fight the klitschos but has bottled it every time, the worst was when theyd already set up their fight (before haye beat valuev) & because setanta (who haye was signed to) went bankrupt so he faked a back injury because he knew his earnings would have been halved, he didnt give a shit about the fans who had already booked plane tickets & hotels in germany,
both klitschos said theyd fight him after he beat valuev but because he knew theirs a good chance he'd get beat he made up some excuses & fought the worst boxer ever to represent the uk instead  ,
+when he does fight the klitschos is any1 gonna bother ppv it? gonna be a snoozfest to end all snoozfests,
+why did the WBA allow him to fight audley in a title fight? how the hell did audley deserve it? & people wonder why the heavyweight division has become so bad, even though valuev is another boring fighter he at least deserved a rematch, at least he's in the top ten, i h8 watching the klitschos fight, but am looking forward to them beating haye

Haye and Harrison are old mates and this is likely how Harrison queue jumped to a title fight.
Haye was heavily involved in promoting the fight, therefore probably fixing up an over-hyped 'testimonial' event to help old pal Harrison financially into retirement with barely any real risk of him losing his crown plus earning a big figure for himself.
Might as well earn a few quid whilst you are treading water for the real deal to come along (if it ever does of course )
Didn't lose £15 though - just a few minutes of my life listening to the radio thankfully.
