Besides the new public library, where else can the public get a view of the city from high up? What is the tallest building in Amsterdam as a whole, and in the centrum?

Try Bar 23 on the 23rd floor of the Okura Hotel and have a great view of the city.

Down at the bottom of the page it says:

"On December 31 the Twenty Third Bar is exclusively opened for hotel guests."

Too bad.

I think V&D has a top floor restaurant in Amsterdam. I know the Haarlem branch has one up there.

This is zoomed in on Bavo, it is actually much more panoramic. The big dome to the right of Bavo and farther out is the jail.

Enjoy
