Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the January and March Whos In Town pages.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
In January you just miss a Toke and Talk on the 11th.
In March you overlap TwoCanucks, he will probably do a Toke and Talk or two during his visit

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=41817

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

Enjoy

A technical point. Brown bars are beer related, all of your list is what is known as coffeeshops, sellers of cannabis products.

You can cover a lot more ground on a fiets ( bike ) using a lot less energy. I have a bike stashed in Haarlem and it gets used every visit.

Enjoy

How not to get hit by a bike

this document may be found in the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite for first-time visitors to amsterdam

imho reading this document is the very most important preparation you can do to ensure your own safety in amsterdam traffic, because being hit by a bicycle could ruin your day ...

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive, and thanks

have a great trip ...

also there simiar time jan 9-13 and have a wish to visit quite a lot of the coffeeshops on your list as well the Heiniken brewery tour which I'm told is very close to Mellow Yellow.

Aside from that I'm an art lover so will be looking to hit some of the museums and exhibits while there. Hope to see a bit more than the Van Gogh exhibit this time.

we popped into mellow yellow(amnesia was nice but sleezestack kept me nice and high through out) less than 2 minutes from Heineken brewery, is a self tour. 15 euros per person. it can be done quickly but a nice slow take everything in read all boards, i liked the bottle ride (go to front of ride) jerks about more than i thought and was great stoned. the girls knew nothing apart from the script they tell you which was a shame. what i didnt like was years ago you got 3 glasses in case very nice and free, but now it a put your name on a bottle for 5 euros but overall well worth a visit
bottled ceiling

some of the tanks have big t.vs in them

when you go yo might be able to help me i rekon the horses are fake but friends didnt looked like it was on a board which moved now and again
