sensimilia definatly does mean without seeds, the reason most in the u.k probably relate to this as being jamaican, is cos in the old days their was no skunk, only outdoors & jamaican lambsbreed was one of the best, the jamaican farmers had learnt that pulling the males produced a much more potent bud, so it wasn't difficult for the term 'jamaican sensi' to take off, thai stick was also tops (but still contained seeds). in the US things were probably different, correct me if im wrong but didnt most of the marijuana in the old days come from colombia & mexico, & was quite seedy, & US growers would grow their own & pull the males & produce sensimelia, im not sure on this its just a thought

Yes, as well as alot from Jamaica, and lets not forget the veterans from South East Aisa, as they brought back some great weed and thai stick.Pauli Wallnuts wrote: in the US things were probably different, correct me if im wrong but didnt most of the marijuana in the old days come from colombia & mexico, & was quite seedy, & US growers would grow their own & pull the males & produce sensimelia, im not sure on this its just a thought
George Washington, the first pres of the USA, experimented with seperating the male and female plants for a more potant flower. Back in the 18th century if you had enough land you were required to grow hemp, our nation was built on hemp. It was the 20th century policy that outlawed hemp.

You are right, along with Herst, Mellon, and Anslinger. Hemp was a threat to the oil, forest, and chemical industries. It was also outlawed as a direct result from a lie to congress, which was later proved to be a lie.Pauli Wallnuts wrote:i heard it was Du Pont & other powerfull chemical companies who had friends in high places, who had it criminalized, they knew they couldn't push their products when somebody could make something cheaper & more superior out of hempWilljay wrote:if you had enough land you were required to grow hemp, our nation was built on hemp. Thats right, helped half of north london if you had the nerve to go in for draw. I remember rehearsing how I was going to ask the black guys, what words to use, trying to sound a bit 'street'!spidergawd wrote:Me and the Missus used to go to the 4 Aces up Dalston in the '70's templeball. happy daze.
Sensi? now and again if we were lucky. Oh that earthy aroma. A bit like the West African weed, the smell of the jungle floor.
Did you ever score from Sandringham road? It was terrifying, you drew up in your car, lowered your window and a huge rasta would lean right in with a bag of weed, I remember the smell of their dreadlocks bizzarely, it was a 5 or ten pound draw, and a scrap of newspaper would be put in your hand and they used to just pull out a small handful and do it by eye, all the time we used to shit ourselves that the heat would be on us any second. Sometimes it was wicked jamaican, not sensi but at least it had THAT jamaican smell.
