THE NEW AND INPROVED ACD 420 MEETS

Post by hestia »

WE have come up with 2 different but similer plans thanks to DC,AZ LAKER,LEMMING,TASTYWAVES ect...... :D :D :D 8) SO please look at them both and tell us what you think 8) 8) 8)

Plan #1

Step 1. Get the list of coffeeshops into a new poll. Let all ACD forum members vote up until the week before 420.
Step 2. When all the votes are in, get somebody to make up a printable form with the top voted shops on it.
Step 3. Print out some copies and anybody that wants to participate can pick one up.
Step 4. Let everybody that is here for 420 visit the shops however and whenever they want to during that week.
Step 5. Sheets that get handed into me by the end of the week get counted.
Step 6. Whatever shops get the best score win.
Step 7. Gold, silver and bronze cup 'thingys' get put on the winners ACD page. (Ask Lem if this is possible) Also a sticky thread with the voted best weeds and hashes can be made, which will keep the concept goin after the week ends.
Step 8. Then on 21 April we go back to the 3 winning shops in reverse order (3rd place, 2nd place first place) and party :D
.

This means that everybody can still visit the shops for judging, just there isn't a 'set schedule' for crawls or toke and talks for every shop, making it more flexible.

Plan #2

Go to 2 coffee shops a day for 3 days (april 18, 19th & 20th), finishing up at the Ness each day to discuss and party. :) On 4/20 go to the 4:20 @4:20 (3rd day last shop) then go to the Ness and talley the votes and party. :) Then on 21 April we go back to the 3 winning shops in reverse order (3rd place, 2nd place first place) and party :D (6 shops total)

Let me know what you think,

Hestia

High Hestia,

I think plan 1 is the best and fairest. However, either way I dont mind it will be good to meet people no matter what happens.

Iam more than happy to put together the forms and print them out.

Thanks Drugsbunny we can use all the help we can get. What did you have in mind hon? Twitch it's not going to be that bad(I hope) .the thing that will save our fat from the fire in that the main set up(meet and greets) is already in place and that our main base of operation is going to be the Nes and we ALL know were it's at! Kermit don't worry about missing to much, you'll get the 20th and 21st and 22nd and so on and so on...plenty of party for everyone!!! Besides- I'm going to be in the Dam probily untill the 26 or 27 .So Who's up for extra coffeshopin'???? :D :D :D

Voting

Post by Sky »

I think that all registered ACD members should be able to vote on the "Top Shops," regardless of whether or not they are able to attend.
I think that there are many members who would like to go, but can't, so being a part of it is meaningful, even if it is limited to having a say in the vote.
If the event is under the ACD title, shouldn't all ACD'ers be able to vote?

Think 100 times less complicated....We'll have to wrestle sheets away from people cos they'll like them too much and wont want to give them up!.
