I bought the first one but I honestly dont think it's worth buying anymore thanks to the internet which is a lot better and obviously more up to date.

I agree, Bone. I have the 1st and 3rd volumes (the 1st was a gift) and whilst the pictures are lovely it becomes fairly outdated quickly.

Maybe I'll ask for that volume as a gift as well :)

The Bud selections in the BBB series seem rather arbitrary, and not based on actual testing. All of the strain descriptions are made by the Seed Companies themselves and not the authors of the books. They do include some pretty good information on Cannabis history and biology etc. That said, I still use them as a reference for prospective strains.

iv got vol 1 and 3 with 2 arriving via ups tomorrow. love the books. hopefully get vol 4 too!
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.
