Medicinal marijuana in Dam
I remember reading through an old smokers guide book and it had a section on medicinal cannabis in Amsterdam and mentioned something about a few coffeeshops (damprking being one I remember) offering discounted bud upon production of a medical note?
anyone got any experiences of this???

I'm sure this only applies to dutch mmj patients, as you must be enroll in the mmj program and have a card. Medical cannabis is also sold in pharmacies. I understand the quality is not so good and is just about the same cost as in the coffeeshops. But I dont have any experience with that mmj. I am currently trying to track down the THC, CBD & CBN content of the mmj. I'll keep you posted.
Pax.

Some coffeeshops (eg Greenhouse) show the THC & CBD levels of each strai non the menu which could be useful information for the medical user however I suspect the levels quoted are probably inflated, as they no doubt only apply to a perfect specimen of the given strain. It may also just be a marketing tool.

I would take any numbers provided with a grain of salt (or maybe a a pound of salt.) Marketing is damn right!!Some coffeeshops (eg Greenhouse) show the THC & CBD levels of each strai non the menu which could be useful information for the medical user however I suspect the levels quoted are probably inflated, as they no doubt only apply to a perfect specimen of the given strain. It may also just be a marketing tool.
Also, when quoted they NEVER mention whether it is X%, by weight or X%, by proportion of cannibinoids and so on.
This is also true of the Canadian government supplied MMJ. It is quite expensive and not as potent as that in compassion clubs or on the street......Medical cannabis is also sold in pharmacies. I understand the quality is not so good and is just about the same cost as in the coffeeshops.....

I have a feeling that only a few coffeeshops offer a discount to mmj patients, I know Willie Wortel does (or did) and I remember Nol saying he doesn't get any financial help off the government so he took the hit himself.Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:Is there not a program where dutch patients get half price buds at coffeeshops if they're medical users.
