Your guess is as good as mine. Probably as soon as a coffeeshop owner tries it and likes it enough to put it on his menu. Had it placed in the sativa cup I'm sure it would be making it's way onto a few menus right now.

He was saying that the seeds havent been made yet. This smoke probably comes from one of the first off-shoots. Expect it to hit the CS's in no less than 4-5 months. Too bad as i will be there in a few weeks and I WANT IT!!!

Soma gives clones to coffeeshops so it is possible for the shops to have it earlier than when the seeds are available. He even says in the video to one of the dudes that he can give him one of his babies.

Quite an interesting thread on the icmag forums:

I had read before most of 'his' beans are now bred in Spain, the same with DNA and a few other supposed dutch based breeders.
This quote made me laugh:

Edit: Just noticed that thread was from 2008 but at least he admits he doesn't do all the breeding himself.

The fact that Soma doesn't do all of the breeding himself is not very shocking to me. I think alot of people on that thread have unrealistic expectations about the business of breeding seeds. For one person to single handidly tend to an enormous breeding operation would be impossible. Personally I don't really care what country the seeds are bred in, I'm more concerned about quality. I have no expierience with Soma's seeds so I don't know his germ rates and consistency. However all the DNA seeds I've germed have popped and the plants were all consistent with no mutants so I have nothing but good things to say about them.

To be fair 1 plant will produce 100's if not 1000's of seeds so I dont personally see the problem, all he'd need to do is pay some kids to de-seed the plants (which is the biggest pain in the arse).

I wonder what they do with all the bud once they deseed it. Smoke it or sell it I guess.

It's smokeable but it's lost a lot of it's strength, I suppose you could make it into something like ice hash.

I'm not sure I'm completely sold on the idea that seeding your bud makes it much weaker. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the plant uses it's resin to create the seed so the bud should be weaker right. However the two times I seeded my buds the smoke was not weak at all which was a bit of a surprise. The Mango x Trainwreck that I seeded completely knocked me sideways and silly, some of the most potent buds I've ever smoked, almost too strong. Definitely still had that trademark trippy, confusing Trainwreck high. Maybe the bud had lost some potency, but it certainly wasn't weak at all.
