I had 2 oz of perfectly grown & cured SAGE last summer. It's supposed to be sort of 'designer' bud, the supposed perfect blend of Sativa & Indica with emphasis leaning towards Sativa & no ceiling to the high or tolerance build-up. SAGE is short for Sativa Afghani Genetic Equilibrium.

The truth for me was that whilst it had a beautiful smell and flavour, and also looked fantastic, after a couple of weeks (& 1oz later) I was starting to look for other more Indica-heavy strains. I guess this is the same for every bud strain, no matter how good it seems when u first get it- 2 weeks & you'll be looking for something else.

It is, but on a Sativa level so whilst it is great daytime smoke I find a more Indica heavy strain is in order for evening smoke. The smell is just crazy.

my SAGE is a very strong hitter...i smoke more than anyone i know (i'm sure we all do on this site), and 1 hit puts me into a nice way...of course, i end up taking 2 or 3 anyway...i find it to be more of an indica, than sativa....which is a good thing in my heavy eyes! 8)

Smokestax - u must have a phenotype where the afghani is more dominant, this would be more preferable for me too however my cut is certainly leaning quite strongly towards the Sativa end of the SAGE hybrid spectrum which is also nice, but heavy hitting indicas is def where it's at for me
too.
