This whole trip report is from memory, i didnt take any notes, so if i sounds like im waffling on a bit then i apologise. Im just going to mention various shops i visited and what i thought about them....not really much structure....

We arrive at Centraal station at a nice 10.30 am after an excellent 40 min plane journey. For 2 of us its our 4th trip and we both know the area fairly well, for the other 2 its there 2nd trip but neither of them have been to 'dam for a proper smoking trip. Because of this me and my brother are pretty much the tour guides for the 2 nights that we spent.

So as we exit the train station it gives me goose bumps...I can always picture that image, the one where you emerge from the station doors and all you can see it people everywhere, trams, bikes etc...I tell the rest of the crew that we are heading for Haarlemmer straat...First stop of is Dampkring, mainly because we stopped off there the last trip and because its the first one along that road.

The excitement on everyones face as we walked into dampkring was great...It was pretty empty so i was happy about being able to get a seat and relax for a lil bit. However straight away the dealer greets us with have you got any I.D?...thats cool because im only 21, and i look young, as do the rest of the people im with. After checking my ID he kind of through it on the counter in a rude manner which pissed me off a bit. The dealers was just letting off negative vibes, but i wasnt going to let it bring me down. Anyways, i grabbed a gram of Hawaiian haze...was very nice, gave a very clear high but not as smelly as i remember. Between the other guys they got 1g of Super Silver Haze which was decent, but nothing amazing...1g of Diesel which absolutely stank...was also stronger then i expected, very decent smoke, about 10€ i think.

After Dampkring we hit the nxt shop along the street which was Greenhouse..For some reason i had never been to greenhouse in my previous 3 trips but after hearing great reviews and viewing their menu i decided to go, and i was glad i did. Apart from the fact that the shop looks cool, the fish tank in the floor is amazing, it actually pranged me out a bit at first because as i took a step i thought i was going to full through the floor.....anyways, great menu here...i got a gram of Super Lemon Haze straight away as did the 3 others i was with...It was a very good smoke, quite sour..One of the guys i was with voted it the best smoke as it was an 'easy smoke' as he put it....He reckoned it was the type of smoke you could enjoy but still get on with your day....Another guy i was with bought a gram of Trainwreck, and it definitely wrecked him. After half a spliff he was ruined....I dont remember much about the smell but i remember it being pretty strong..

Barneys was next, was fairly disspointed here. I got a gram of the Dr. Grinspoon and wished that i never....It was probably the biggest dissapointment...it wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't worth 17€ a gram...If you give it that kind of price then expect people to smoke it with high expectations, which is what i had, and they were shattered....The vanilla kush was also a let down...wasn't particularly bad, but nothing amazing. The crimea Blue was a very nice smoke....But my fav frm barneys over the weekend has got to be the G-13 Haze....It absolutely stank, and was a complete head rocker. We was lucky enough to get seats in barneys all though the 3 days in 'dam so we made full use of the volcanoes they have set up...The shop was very cool and was a night place to relax, however i think the reputation is higher then the quality of the bud here....

We only visited Grey Area once and that was on the first day...I got a gr of chocolope which was nothing special but still a nice smoke. the grey berry was pretty nice....between us we did get more but i cant remember what they were...which sums up grey area this trip, quite forgettable...i have loved grey area every other time but the weed this time was nothing amazing.

Are hotel was on warmoestraat so we was right by hunters. We spent a fair bit of time in here and enjoyed it...unfortunetly there wasnt any diesel on the menu which was upsetting as i heard good things, never mind though hey, im sure i can make do, and i did...Hunters haze was very nice, the the job, easy to smoke and left you with a nice high...juicy fruit was also a nice smoke but not great, but for 8.50 i was very happy. The silver pear and big buddah cheese were also both good buys and both stank...was very pleased with hunters.

We also hit up Stones Corner one night....Hunters had shut arnd 1am but we werent finished for the night so we headed to stones...Boy did i have a laugh...It was my first time in stones so i wasnt sure about the whole smoking policy but i wasnt unsure for too long as i see the bouncer greet us with a nice size spliff in his mouth....we were lucky to get seats at a table by the door....Im not very good at mixing weed with alcohol but i managed alright this night, we all did. I had a great night in stones and i would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a lively night out with a smoke and a drink....great place...

Sheeba was a shop by our hotel which we tried for the first time. I really liked this place...it isn't one that people talk about much which is probably why i hadnt heard of it before but i was glad i went in....I don't remember much of the menu but the first 2 things i did notice were they had Lemon Cheese and Mango Haze...I got a g of lemon haze to start and it was perhaps the smelliest weed of the whole trip....i know that cheese has a potent smell but this was amazing...this may have possibly been my favourite strain of the trip so i recommend anybody who hasnt tried it yet to go and give it a go....i believe it was 14€ a gram, which is quite pricey, but well worth it.....They also had a vaporizer on the table by the window which was pretty cool, it was a different type that i had never used before....it had a tube that you smoke from, kind of like a bong set up.....

Thats all for now, As i remember more of my trip ill post it up....

Hotel Luxer...Its a couple doors down from Hunters.....

I was a bit reluctant to book the hotel at first as i heard nothing about it...a friend had found it for a reasonably price...But to be honest its a decent hotel...It has a bar aswell but we didnt ever use it, nor did we have the breakfast. But the beds were comfortable and it was in a perfect location. Also we had no complaints about the smoking....and we were smoking monster spliffs at the hotel...5-6g bats...and they still didnt complain...i will def be using them again...

We stayed at the Luxer as well. We had a nutter knock our door on Boxing Day thinking it was his room, until the husband barked at the door!

The Mango Haze from Sheeba is a really good smoke. It smells lovely from the moment you open the bag, when you grind it and when you smoke it. We were blowing Mango smoke at each other cos it was so nice!

We got attitude as well in Dampring. We walked out.

I will put our full trip report up in the next couple of days.

I've added Sheeba to our list of stops for March.

Lemon Cheese sounds very exciting, as I loved the cheese and lemon flavored smokes last time out... and Mango Haze!!!

Wow, that's two of the more interesting smokes that I haven't had a chance to try.

Looking forward to it.

Happy new year everyone, i really like Sheeba and always go when in town. i know its not everyones cup of tea quite old school compared to the modern wine bar type shop . The staff have always been very friendly and i had some great Caramello from there a few years back. Nice report by the way
