did you really need to bring p their race? seems unnecessary. iv been through newark airport a good amt as i fly continental airllines and although im in agreement the tsa there are rude..but they in my experience were rude to everyone reguardless of race. your always bringing up peoples nationality(esp americans who you seem to blame everything under the sun on prob your own problems too?) and now is it going to race too? not trying to call you out or anything just making an observation. something iv seen while iv been on this forum. once again no offense meant just dont think its necessary/ kinda sketchy.

funnily enough though just last night i had a dream i was flying back from amsterdam and i was going through us customs and they found a bunch of weed in my bag. was scary. us customs can be pretty tough as can tsa. had a 400 dollar unused roor broken by them. iv found the thai customs to be pretty "interesting" too.

I HATE racsism and im the first to barrack people for doing it but to me that guys post is no where near being racist.

He was explaining how the customs guy's were racist to him stopping him just becuase he was white.

They were black and they were idiots putting those words together don't make it racist.

Fucking pc brigade need to get a life everytime someone's colour is mentioned.

Last time I (middle-aged white guy) came through customs from Schipol, it was Thanksgiving, '07. Had just done the HT Cannabis Cup. As usual, was carrying seeds (never tried to bring in anything else). Customs never gave me a second look. BUT, the only two black guys on the plane were having their luggage taken apart, piece by piece. Racial discrimination? Profiling? DUH!!!

Tough to say without knowing what was said between the party involved and the security team doing the screening.

We shouldn't be so quick to label things as profiling or descriminatory... it is impossible to profile a terrorist or drug mule or whatever anymore... those who are guilty of committing these "transgressions" are less likely to fit any specific profile in the year 2010.

Actually, real rednecks take pride in being called redneck! While it can be viewed as offensive it really is rather harmless. Although I live in Portland now, I've lived in the South and you'd have a difficult time finding a true Southerner who objects to being called redneck...lol.

In a way, it's a badge of honor since the term derived from hard-working farmers whose neck was "reddened" by working the land with their shirt on.

I don't know what the guys might have said or done to attract attention. I was ranting and raving about the delays, the paperwork, and overall inconvenience. Still, no Customs hassels. But, of 250 passengers who came off the plane, the ONLY two to get searched were two ordinary-looking guys who happened to be black. WTF???

Odd. You really seem to be sticking your nose in all sorts of people's business with this post. Its foolish of you to take the decisions of certain politicians and use that to apply a label to all Americans. Thats ignorant.

Also, America wasn't built by TERRORISTS. Terrorists attack innocent civilains in the hopes of doing just that: creating terror. While the Ameican Revolution was won by a bunch of people revolting against the government, they certainly did not commit atrocities such as 9/11, where thousands of innocent NON-MILITARY people were slaughtered.
