I'm assuming that you are talking about the MSF which, while based in France, is an international organization. I will not argue that the U.S. has imperialistic desires for Haiti. I'm sure any number of Cheney's cronies are lining up for disaster capitalism, as evidenced by the Heritage Foundation's recent edited website. But I don't see any people on this forum having anything do with that.

This thread seems to have gone off topic somewhat. Personally have never had any trouble whatsoever coming through customs either to or from Amsterdam. I live in England.

In the USA I have had a bad problem once in Atlanta with a female ciustoms agent and the black agents I've had contact with in the states were just fine and dandy.
Also I was questioned and searched before boarding a plane for the US in Manchester.
Maybe the two agents at the top were just idiots who happened to be black?
The gender and race of a particular agent are unimportant, their attitude and proficiency are not connected in any way. They all work for the government and follow certain rules.
In a written forum it gets to be impossible to describe anyone without the PC police showing up so to a certain extent I sympathise with the OP whoes native language is obviously not English.

what about if pass-port shows you been for then once?
i seem to keep them paper also from camping ground it also good to have train stubs showing you been else where...

I tell them that I have a relative like a cousin living there (when pressed I give the name of the lady I stay with there) and I really like to recharge my batteries by cruising the canals/studying art/ Learning Dutch/riding my bike through the countryside/visiting windmills/ eating pancakes/smelling tulips... etc etc etc

I'm not interested in getting involved in the racial element of this discussion,but i've just seen on the BBC News at 10,many organisations ,including Oxfam,are complaining that the US military arent allowing medical supplies to land at the airport...they havent even got basic sterilising equipment !!!and the Canadians are trying to open another airport to get stuff in...What the FUCK IS GOING ON THERE ???

Adamster, I think you could have a fully recorded itinerary (with tickets) for your trip and all customs need to do is speak to you. From what I can tell, the reply you'd give warrants a gloved hand, whatever colour, inserted into your arse!....and you're giving advice, awesome!.

I understand there are alot of people that are upset that their planes were unable to land, but I think they're underestimating the logistical nightmare on the ground. Haiti has a very small airport with limited space and there is simply not enough room for all the planes that want to land there. The airport also has no working radar, not enough equipment to unload these planes, and not enough fuel to get these planes back in the air. I don't know where you heard there was no sterilising equipment on the ground, but there are teams from many countries with sterilising equipment. Best of luck to the Canadians on opening up a new airport they will face many hurdles including lack of radar, unloading equipment, and fuel.

see last saturday France Medic plane wanted to land in Haiti american told them CANT LAND HERE! BUT next day tell me why the isreal Medics were able to land and set up Medic tents? what the french medics and the stuff they have aint wasnt enought to help haiti? i call that PROPAGANDA! worst like i sayed b4 is that b4 this event the STATES didnt want nothing to do wit them But now they took over the country and they talking about being for next 10-15years WHEN canada been there from the start and should be in control!

You seem to be contradicting yourself. First you claim you hate Canada and France, but now you complain about a French plane unable to land and Canada not being in control. Is there a country you do like, or are you just too good for everyone?
