Actually, real rednecks take pride in being called redneck! While it can be viewed as offensive it really is rather harmless. Although I live in Portland now, I've lived in the South and you'd have a difficult time finding a true Southerner who objects to being called redneck...lol.

for the record im in agreement with you in that tsa/customs agents can be real dbags. at newark airport paricularly in my experience. i wouldn't be suprised if they were trained to act as suck. but what i dont agree with is they treated you the way u were because you were white or french canadian. they dont seem to discriminate who they act rude/ obnoxious to in my experience.

Dude, quit trying to connect Iraq with 9/11. I understand that you and lots of other people in the world are mis-informed about how America got involved in Iraq. The truth is America was lyed to by George Bush and his cronies about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I can't remember how many speeches I saw with Bush mentioning "mushroom clouds on the horizon". Bush made it sound like if we didn't invade Iraq and depose Hussein, Iraq was going to nuke the US.

i remember the media making us belive that they had Nucs! never found anything... still killed Saddam WHy cause Saddam tried to have Senior Bush killed during a visite in the 90s! It's a bit frustrating getting into a debate with someone as misguided and misinformed as you. You feel sorry for Saddam saying "sending 100k soldier after the poor leader". Saddam gassed and killed thousands of innocent civilians in his own country. He was put to death like mass murderers should be. To correct you on Afghanistan, America is not trying to defeat the country they are trying to defeat the taliban who is trying to impose control over the people of Afghanistan. And in WWII alot of innocent people died as a result of carpet bombing from different countries, not just the US. I am not proud that America dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, and I'm sure Germans are not proud of the holocaust.

if your going to bring up japan do some research. google bataan death march where thousands of british and us pow's were marched to death and killed or rape of nanking where the japanese forces killed 30-50000 civillian and raped and killed many thousands of women. not that justifys our use of the nuke(although i think many more deaths on both sides would have occured had we invaded mainland japan) i just think you could have picked a better example to use other than the japanese in the 2nd world war
